One Way Anchor Wire Vise 8-11 Gauge Wire - 10 pack Anchor Vise for Wire Tightening Grape Trellis Fences with 20 Screws

I bought 2 packs, and none of them were broken. all 20 worked as expected. the hole you need to drill is bigger than 1/2" but smaller than 5/8". (5/8" was fine though). I know some people will say you don't need to screw them down, but i did anyway. I don't know what i'll use the fence insulators for (they seem kind of cheap), but i'm sure i'll figure something out eventually.

I used this on my Muscadine trellis. it was much easier to install than the self adjustable clamps or loop systems.

I used 8 gauge wire and it easily slides back out. This product might work for bigger wire, but nor 8 gauge. I ended up having to drive nails into the holes to hold the wire in place.

We're ordered two sets of these for our grape arbor. The object itself works well for it's stated purpose, however...We needed eight, so we ordered a 10-pack, figuring we'd have some extra. Out of 10, three were broken. We could tell that two were broken immediately, but figured we could finish the project. We didn't realize the third was broken until the second-to-last one was installed...It wasn't worth the 2-3 hours of work to "un-install" them and send them back (to only re-install them in a week when we got the replacement parts), so we're stuck re-ordering - but this time from another company! Only 70% were functional. Not good enough!

Exactly what we needed to hold the wires for our grapevines. We installed them last summer and the vines have grown huge this year. The anchors are holding well.
