After removing boat from lake, I plugged my trailer back into the truck. Few minutes later lights went out. Fuses were good, wireing seemed to be ok but no lights. Bought this adapter because it has 4 & 5 connection points. Plugged it in and all the lights work. Old adapter apparently shorted inside. This is a great choice to plug in 4 & 5 different types of trailer lights.

This adapter has been wiring great with my 2021 GMC Acadia AT4's factory 7-blade harness. I have two trailers that I tow but they are both 4 pin. For the extra $1 to get the 5-pin it was worth it. I do chew a trailer to tow eventually with a 5-pin so we will find out how it works there.
