Stunningly beautiful
I am gob-smacked by the absurd beauty of the Le Cadeau Benidorm series, which arrived like a dream of summer during the most difficult February ever. The colors are vivid, rich, and accurate for pottery from the South of France: it's just the right yellow and just the right blue. They're substantial and satisfying in the hand, but still much lighter than stoneware. The surface of each piece has a subtle wave pattern, which helps to avoid that flat, printed-on-plastic look. FYI — the 16" Coup platter has a white underside, while the 18" platter with handles is entirely yellow underneath. They are very close in terms of serving area. I ordered both sizes, and I especially like the 18" platter.

Beautiful & Light
This is exactly as I was hoping. Very beautiful, like a true Italian ceramic. Yet much more convenient due to the lightweight nature of the material.
