It occurred to me to question the legitimacy of a product most people will never test or use until the unlikely event that their lives depend on it.The photo show the result of the test I performed with my kids. The bowl on the left contains a pulverized tablet, and some corn starch (I used resistant starch). The control bowl on the right only contained starch. I added a water solution of ozone produced by bubbling oozing through a bubble stone into ice water.The color change to the test bowl but not the control process that the tablet contained the iodide ion, which makes the product legitimate. Ozone oxidized iodide to iodine, which reacts with starch to create the purplish tint you observe in the photo.Buy this product with confidence. Obviously this isn'ta quantitative test, but the product isn't fake.

Really glad we haven't had any nuclear attacks and hope that continues, but having it on hand in case is nice.

Giving 5 stars only in the hopes that it is a good product if I ever need it. If I ever find myself in a nuclear fallout situation I will be sure to update my review for the 5 stars or 1 star depending on how it goes

I didn’t actually open them or try any, but the container looks exactly like what was advertised in the listing. I’m waiting for a nuclear war to break out, and then I might try them. Then again, it begs the question, do you really want to be around after such an event. I would imagine it will suck because the power will likely be out, cell phones won’t work, no tv, no video games, grocery stores will be raided in a day or so, and everything will be complete chaos as radiation overtakes the entire globe. I would imagine the living will envy the dead, so I might just give these to my neighbors or someone else when the end is near. Meh.

As shown, the pills came in the pictured pill container which is strong. The bottle has a thin plastic seal that I haven't broken. It was shipped USPS first class packaging envelope. It took two weeks to receive the pills. The 2 week shipping time was stated when I purchased the product and was within my expectations. The expiration date on the bottle is three years out. The only instructions is to use as directed by a physician, which I consider appropriate. Purchased in case of an emergency. "Better to have them and not need 'em, than to need them and not have 'em"

For lack of experience with it, I can't truthfully give it 5 stars or 1 star, so I split the difference. My (Ukrainian) wife does swear this is the stuff to use, to protect your thyroid, if exposed to fallout. At one time she lived in Kiev, too close to Chernobyl. So far, haven't needed to use it. Pray that Putin doesn't go into the deep-end.

I bought these because I read that everyone should have these in their homes in case of an emergency. I have not used them, as there has, fortunately not been an emergency that would necessitate them however the product arrived fast and in tact.
