I never write reviews because I’m lazy but I wanted to take the time because this product is SOOOO awesome! I only like to drink a specific wine that’s often not available when I travel, so it’s worth it for me to drag bottles along when I go on vacation - omg - these are awesome. They work beautifully. I took 12 bottles with us (ya, a little overboard, even for me!), and I brought 5 home - all did very well - no breaks or cracks in my checked luggage ... but even if one had cracked I feel very confident nothing would have leaked through the triple protection this packaging offers. I think it would be very hard to break anything inside, but if it did happen, I think your clothes and the belongings of your fellow travels would be 100% OK. Fantastic design! I can’t believe I’m just now finding this product. When we got to our destination, they were easy to disassemble and also reuse for trip home; they lay flat for beautiful storage and reuse for our next trip. I’m also going to purchase additional sets for friends & family as gifts. Excellent idea for that wine lover in your life... Also cheaper to pay for additional bag full of wine than have shipped from most vineyards. LOVE. Buy them - you won’t be sorry! THANK YOU!!! (Oh, and my boyfriend brought home some unusual shaped liquors he found when we were on vacation, so they will also accommodate larger/fatter bottles than just your standard bottle of wine...) AWESOME product at a fantastic price!!!

My bottle of wine made it safe, and sound. We had an overseas flight and checked a couple of bags. This was a perfect solution for a peace of mind while transporting wine across the ocean. I’ve traveled with wine previously and nothing broke but I wanted to be even better prepared for the next time. This product delivers. It’s also protecting your other packed items from messes in the event of breakage.

These wine bags worked perfectly during a recent trip to France/Germany. Was able to bring back a few bottles of wine without any breakage. There is a padded inner bag and then a second outer bag for added protection. I especially like the fact the bags are reusable.

I checked my loaded-to-the-max carryon on my return trip from Spain that included two bottles of sherry wrapped in these sleeves and they arrived in perfect condition. I was not gentle handling my luggage when navigating streets, busses, and trains to get to my final destination (the airport) and home. Both bottles made it through the abuse of being very squished while I schlepped over cobblestones, sidewalks and curbs. It is a little tricky to get the top open to insert the bottle (for me), but once I got the hang of it, inserting the bottles were easy. I especially like how the top flaps over, giving extra protection in case the bottle might break. My daughter had a few in her luggage and had the same great experience. AND they are reusable! They bubbles seem to be harder than the shipping bubbles that one normally finds. These are specifically designed for bottles so I don’t know what else they could be used for. I can’t compare them to any others but after using these, I don’t have to.

I purchased these for our trip to Europe after being told about them by a friend. They did not disappoint. I was able to confidently pack bottles without feeling the need to wrap the bottles in massive amounts of clothing to prevent breakage. We were able to fit wine bottles, whiskey bottles, and bourbon bottles with ease. The double walled protection gave me peace of mind that if for some reason the adequately insulated bag failed and the bottle broke nothing would get into our luggage. Great value for the money and reusable. Would definitely recommend.

Got 4 bottles of wine from the Midwest to Cali in my checked luggage with these bad boys. They are padded on the inside and come with additional bubble wrap for more padding before you place in the bag. Overall pleased with the results. Note - these are NOT watertight as I tested with a poorly sealed water bottle. They do slow the leakage quite a bit but it definitely could leak in the event of a breakage. Protects bottle from breakage pretty well overall though. I wrapped my bottles in Saran Wrap before bagging for good measure.

Used when flying home from Temecula. Needed added protection for my newly purchased wine. Worked perfectly.

The Wine Angel is PERFECT for wine and liquor for traveling! I used for wine and liquor, in my suitcase upon departure; arrived safe and secure, ready to enjoy upon destination. Why didn't I think of a Wine Angel?? Highly recommend and reasonably priced!

2 out of 4 received already had ziplock zips which had detached from the backing so were unable to act as a seal if the wine bottle broke. i wanted a replacement of the 2 defective ones but amazon has no option for that, it's either return all 4 or none at all. very poor!!
