Based if but loosely on a P.S game much loved by my Daughter and her hubby,(I myself am not a game player so was able to watch with no expectations andenjoyed the film) though it seems many that have played the game say itdrifted some from the game theme.....glad I could watch it as an adventuremovieWe find two brothers who, though they will go different ways in life obsessedby the legendary Magellan expedition of years gone by and the lost gold.Nate (Tom Holland) has never forgot the legend or indeed his brother Samwho he'd promised to reunite with one day.Well, Nate is singled out by fortune hunter Victor (Mark Wahlberg ) who believesNate will help him unlock the clues of the treasures whereabouts they are joined by.Chloe ( Sophia Ali ) another fortune hunter who, however, proves to be only out forherself, sharing not in her thinking.The trio will be relentlessly followed and pursued by the unscrupulous Santiago Moncada(Antonio Banderas) and his sidekick Jo (Tati Gabrielle) and their band of thugs.It seems trust is very thin on the ground as they close in on the prize.Will anyone come out of the chase ahead.?On its own, an action-packed fun-ride that'll keep you glued to the screen.Good 4k presentation

Delivered exact indicated time sealed. At first I didn't realise it intialy a game and series with super fast adventure,in any case no matter if was a game or not more interested in movie itself. Characters street smart thief Nathan drake Holland is recruited by seasoned treasure hunter Wahlberg. In terms of story nailed that reasonably. Globe trotting treasure feel was persisting throughout movie unraveling mysteries and puzzles of where the next step is translated well, action bang on the money. Good cast served up okay. Had a energy feel,as for set pieces mix of old newish. Intensity nailed on.

After playing and loving the uncharted games, and being a big fan of Tom Holland and Mark Walhberg,I was alittle disappointed with this film, didn't really get going, and any puzzle solving was brushed over to fast, worth a watch if at a discounted price

I came to this film as a total stranger to its games source, prepared to go along for the escapist ride.The cast oerforms well in a fast paced well mounted production that reflects the exaggerations ofits comic fantasy origins...at a pace that allows overlooking occasional glitches in the telling of the tale.It is clear to my unaccustomed eyes that a lot of enthusiastic commitment has been lavished on theproduction and it deserves to find its DVD audience...probably a lot younger than this aged viewer.There seems to be room for more fo the same judging by this result.
