IreVoor Lids for Nespresso pods have short shelf life
This is an update to my original review. As you can see, I was very happy with these lids and even ordered a 2nd time. I'm now down-staring my rating from 5 to 3 because I've been disappointed by discovering their short shelf life. I purchased these in April 2018 (16 months ago). I recently used the lids on a dozen refilled capsules. Much to my surprise, when I went back to the recently made pods the day after I found that all of them had the lid coming off and all had spilled the coffee into the box that was holding them. When the lids were new, I found that they maintained their adhesion for many weeks (actually never had one fail). So, I don't know exactly what the shelf life is but it is certainly less than 15 months. If you can use all the lids within less than about 14 months, I would certainly buy these again. Otherwise be prepared to throw away (and "loose money") on whatever quantity you don't use soon after purchasing.Second time purchasing these lids to use on my used Nespresso coffee pods. Both orders were identical (no change that I can see between the two purchases), and exactly what I was looking for and exactly as described. I recommend this seller and these lids to anyone looking to recycle their Nespresso pods (or some of the aftermarket pods sold by Amazon - I've used these lids on a couple of those). if I were to make any suggestion to the seller, it would be that they might consider as a cost-saving offering just the lids without the plastic spoon and large cardboard box. The lids could easily be shipped in an envelope saving cost, trees, and carbon footprint. The spoons seem to last forever so return customers could choose the lids only option.

I achieve the perfect crema every time
After using both adhesives, I prefer the CM Lid over the Seal Pods. Every espresso comes out perfectly! I use a Capresso grinder and grind the espresso roast beans for 30 seconds, then pack the stainless steel seal pods with the plastic spoon provided. I achieve the perfect crema every time. I purchased 100 on my first order and they worked out so well I purchased 1000 more. The price can't be beat!Just remember that CM Lid adhesives are less sticky than the seal pods, but are easier to peel off the waxed paper. They stay on the stainless steel seal pods with no problem. Clean up is a breeze. I Highly recommend.

Very happy with these lids. Easy to use. Cups of coffee with my chosen grind are very good.
I've used about a dozen of these lids now. I've used some on OEM Nespresso capsules, and some on capsules from Furia coffee. I've filled the capsules with one of our favorite coffees, the Dark French Roast from Whole Foods. We've been using that coffee for years but with a french press.I grind the beans using our Cuisinart rotating blade grinder for 20-40 seconds. I then fill the capsule and tamp it down lightly with the little plastic spoon/tamper that comes with the lids. I fill and tamp until the coffee is just below the top of the capsule, then place one of these lids on it.I use the smaller size button on the Nescafe machine and so far every cup has come out very good. Good taste, not acidy, slightly sweet after-taste - just as it should be. For those that are really hung up on the "crema" appearance that you get with the Nescafe OEM capsules, you may not like this. I really don't understand what the big deal is with the crema - for me the taste is what's important and I'm very happy with cups I get by reusing the OEM or Furia capsules. And the cost savings is an added bonus.

adhesive still too sticky
This new batch of 500 seals and the one previous have very sticky adhesive. I wrote a review, as have others, to request a less sticky adhesive. Unfortunately, the adhesive has not been changed. One still finds that the glue remains on the seal pod rim and if you do not remove it, even more glue accumulates. Coffee sticks to it as well. Scrubbing is insufficient to remove it. One solution is to take the sheets out of the plastic packet to allow the adhesive to dry somewhat before use. About 10 days seems sufficient.

They work well. Here are a few tips.
These work well, and are money savers. They produce a much better crema than the refillable plastic capsules that I previously used. The small blade of a pocket knife is a very good implement for removing the foil from the original capsule. Removing it is the most troublesome part of using these lids.I now have some experience with re-using a capsule after it has been once or even twice re-used with these lids. It doesn't seem to matter -- the crema is still good, as is the coffee.I like Nespresso's Arpeggio flavor, and now I've found some good alternatives -- expresso ground Dark French Roast from Starbucks or Whole Foods. Either place will grind any quantity to order for you, so you don't have to buy a pound and figure out what to do with all that coffee.

Good product, good price; an improvement suggested
Worked well, and I like the price -- some of the other foil lids cost more per lid than the coffee that fits in a Nespresso capsule, which seems excessive to me. The lids are harder to peel off of the backing material than in other similar products. I specifically like a feature found on Seal Pod lids: a small tab that does not have adhesive and makes is easier to peel the lid off of the backing and provides a convenient place to hold the lid while fitting it to the top of the capsule. Add that feature without changing the price (or not by much) and you get 5 stars...:-)

Works very well.
These work great. I refill about every one in two shots I make. It took five or six tries to get the grind right and I can now make a pretty decent shot using medium espresso grind (10/60 on my Breville pro grinder) and light tamping. Still haven't created a delicious shot like Arpeggio provides, but I've only tried two light-ish espresso coffees thus far. Using with original Nespresso pods. I try to not grind too small or tamp too tight because the Pixie will stop the water flow mid shot which may potentially damage the unit if done repeatedly. I usually pull 1.5 to 2.0 ounces as my smaller espresso size when using original Nespresso capsules but I decrease to around 1 ounce for refills. Good luck and keep adjusting your variables until it works.
