This globe is good quality with bright colours which are enhanced when turning on the light. It’s a practical size, so it doesn’t take up too much space like globes I’ve had in the past, but you can still see the countries clearly. It’s great for kids who are curious about our world and it can double up a night light to have beside the bed, which my daughter is really excited about - we had to shut the curtains and turn off the lights to try it out the moment it arrived.

This is a very nice little globe, but unfortunately it was posted in only a thin, completely unpadded envelope from the UK to Greece. I ordered as a birthday present, and the box was totally bashed in on all sides when the item arrived (impossible not to have happened, as it wasn’t double boxed and the original packaging is not that sturdy). When we put in a set of four same brand new batteries, the light up function didn’t work. The reason we aren’t returning the item is because of the distance and time required to return it. My husband unscrewed the base cover and a wire is loose going to the switch, we are going to take it to get it soldered and hope it will work. I believe the seller should however compensate us in some way, at least for the postage, as it was quite expensive and the packaging was utterly inadequate.

Good product to keep children interested in Geography.

Bought for my 6 year old to help with geography. Very light weight and while it appears fragile it does tollerate gentle handling and turning. The light is nice and makes it easier to see the writing. Good colours and value for money. It's a nice size and useful for our home education.
