Q: Hopfull ,thease work for adult flat diapers! 170 lbs.

They do work; especially if you use a pair rather than one, and turn them perpendicular to the intended use. However, these break so damn easily, so I'd recommend another similar product. I tried two sets of these and they each broke while putting them on. And I wasn't stretching them hard or anything, so not relevant whether baby or not.

That is correct they are the larger size snappi, I believe they got rid of the numerical way of sizing

Q: I have a 22 month old. The size one snappi's are becoming too tight for him. Are these made specifically for toddlers as opposed to newborns?

The size 2 Snappis would definitely be appropriate. In my experience cloth diapering; the size 1 closures were only good for a short time, then I needed the size 2. I swapped my daughter to the bigger size Snappi at about 12 months, and my son who is huge at 3 months.
