It’s ok - color is kind of flat in person
It’s ok- it’s not really two tone it’s kind of like a flat color for taffeta- I think it would make ok lining but I will not use it for the dress I was hoping to makeI bought a really nice two tone taffeta for the same price from stylishfabrics https://www.amazon.com/Fuschia-Iridescent-Taffeta-Acetate-Fabric/dp/B06XC6H4HJ/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=Stylishfabric+taffeta&qid=1622323630&sr=8-5I was hoping that I could use these taffeta fabrics together but the quality if these are not the same - I’ll try washing it like some reviewers have done - I’ll leave another review once I have washed it - I mean overall it’s ok for the price - but if I were to see it in person I would have passed- I only got a few yards and will use it for something I’m sure but defiantly get a sample if you are unsureIt arrived very quickly and rhat is a plus !

Wash before you begin working with it.
Gorgeous color. I had my doubts when I first took it out of its packaging. It felt like paper and easily creased and wrinkled with awkward drape. For a brief moment I considered returning it. Something just didn’t feel right. Then I noticed the care label on the packaging and saw that it was machine washable. So, in the washer it went — delicate cycle, cold water, mild detergent then a tumble dry in low heat with dryer sheets. Wow!! Totally changed the feel and manageability of the fabric but still with that beautiful two-tone effect and the drape it was meant to have. Can’t wait to make my mother-of- the bride gown!

7" X 14" imperfection
This taffeta is very nice, and the color is beautiful and true to what showed on my computer. As another reviewer noted, at first the taffeta felt like paper, but after washing on cold delicate, it came out great. My problem is that there is a 7" X 14" imperfection in the fabric. Fortunately, I bought enough extra so that I can cut around it and still have enough fabric to line a jacket. I would suggest thoroughly examining your fabric when you first get it.

Not Great Quality like they say
The media could not be loaded. This is not great quality synthetic. There are better. This is great for the LINING of the dress not the actual dress I'm afraid

Great for historical ball gown
Nice weight and drapes beautifully. I used it to make a civil war era ball gown . Just a note: do not forget that this is synthetic taffeta when you iron or you will melt your fabric. Medium heat is sufficient and flattens without damage to the fabric.

Very thin like taffeta lining.
This is like a crisp but thin lining. I have taffeta in my stash and this is slightly different. I am a little disappointed. The color was right, it is ivory.Unfortunately it doesn’t match what I needed it for.

I mean, it's cheap polyester?
I wanted to make a dupe of a 70$ RTW dress that was also made of polyester taffetta. So, for $24 of fabric in a color better for my closet, I'm not complaining too much. It's just not amazing. I pre-washed it to soften it up and a little (it didn't) and now am nervous by the obvious weak spots that have formed in the creases in the fabric visible when I hung it to line dry in the sun. Like another reviewer mentioned, it's a really deep color with the black/blue cross weave. It's a breeze to cut from but a bit fussy to sew so far.

My piece wasn't cut strait & no extra to compensate for that.
I odered 1 yard. It came cut right to the inch but it was cut off salvage by 2" cutting the workable amount of fabric by almost 4 inches. When I buy fabric I expect it to be square. There was also a scuff nark about 1cm x 1 1/2cm on the wrong side of the fabric although that wont affect my project unless it causes the fabric to frey. I would not buy again.
