Oh man! These work great!!
If you have an inch thick piece of marble or granite or glass that weighs several hundred pounds, and you need to move it, then you need these rollers. So glad we found them. Here's the story of how 1.5 people moved our 300lb, 3.5ft x 7ft marble table from our loft. We needed to bring it down a flight of stairs, move it over some floor ridges and then move it to a truck across a parking lot. We used a folding shop/engine crane (available from Amazon), and some straps (also Amazon) to remove the top, and then used an electric hoist to help slide it down the carpeted stairs. Now here's where the rollers come into play. We used the crane to raise one end of the tabletop enough to place a roller slightly past the middle and also placed a roller at the leading edge. The rollers have a small plastic panel underneath that keeps the rollers upright on their own and also provides some traction when the rollers tilt one way or the other. We lowered the tabletop onto the rollers and, although there was some slight movement of the rollers, the traction was sufficient to snap them onto the bottom edge of the tabletop. We found that faster descent increased the traction and therefore made it easier to snap them into place. The rollers have corrugation to help grip the surfaces of the tabletop; however, the tabletop has very smooth surfaces and the grips tend to slide when the tabletop moves across floor ridges or roughness. In our case, the straps remained on the tabletop, and they acted as a stop for the rollers and help prevent them from sliding along the tabletop. Otherwise, we might have considered placing clamps on the tabletop behind the roller to prevent their movement. The placement of the rollers was perfect since the table was almost balance with just enough weight on the back roller so as to keep both rollers in contact with the ground. This arrangement made it very easy to slightly lift the tabletop over the larger depressions in the ground and to also turn the tabletop. Once at the truck, we used the crane to lay the table flat and then lift it onto the truck bed after simply pulling off the rollers. The afore mentioned procedure saved us hundreds of dollars that would have been required to hire about 4 big people to move the tabletop at both the original location and destination. Yes, there were a few scary moments, but none at all concerning the rollers especially when the straps were used as a stop to slippage when the tabletop moved over significantly rough surfaces. But since the object was well balanced on the rollers, the object could be tipped so as to avoid those rough spots. As mentioned, we placed one roller on the leading edge of the tabletop bottom and another just behind the center of gravity (i.e., just past the center).Excellent product at a good price! Thank you.

Great pieces for moving large heavy stone slabs
Used these to move some large stone slabs and they worked perfectly. The slabs were 9 x 4 feet and 650 lbs+ and these moved them with no issues. Highly recommended.

Great quality but do NOT open as wide as advertised
These do not open nearly as wide as advertised. If you are moving plywood, or something moderately thin, they will work great

Clip n roll
Don't know what I was expecting, but I thought it would be easy to use. It is very small and it rolls nicely, until you actually place something heavy on it and there is no support other than your own to balance the item and try keeping it on the roller all while the roller is just trying to roll away. There is no break lever. I will have to order another one if I ever plan to use it again. Now that I know what it is, I would recommend if you do buy this item keep in mind you may need two for a counter balance

Well made and very handy
Bought this to move a granite hearth that weighed over 250lbs.Snapped this on and rolled it out of the house with a lot less effort. I do metal fabrication and know I will use this to move metal plate too.
