Has anyone had to utilize the 5 year warranty? How difficult was it?

We have not. Very well made…so much so that we bought additional models and tables. Great products. Hope this helps.

Does it have a place to rest your arms?

No, however I tend to rest my elbows on my thighs so this chair is perfect for me the way I tend to sit.

Is this chair appropriate for the beach?

Just had it on the beach and it will work as-is. It sank into the sand a little but not too badly. Of course, it would be better with pads.
