The perfect summer escape
Really loved this book. The perfect summer read, and what a brilliant way to escape. Imagine yourself - an ordinary drama teacher with untameable hair - in St Tropez. Add a gorgeous superstar soon-to-be ex husband and you've got the perfect recipe for romance. I enjoyed meeting all of the characters in this book and especially warmed to Carrie. During the story you could really see and enjoy how she changed from a sensible and careful character into the woman she used to be - vivacious and full of life.Gorgeous scenery and loads of hot chemistry between the hero and heroine helped bring the whole thing to life. Once I started reading I couldn't put it down.

Totally gorgeous read from beginning to end!
Jules Wake just keeps getting better and better ... this lovely, summer read is totally gorgeous. Our heroine Cassie is wonderful, feisty, flawed and fabulous - and her 'secret' superstar husband Richard, just delicious. But this is so much more than a light romance, it's layered with whys and why nots, family ties, insecurities, heartache and passion.I loved all the characters, believable, funny and utterly endearing. Hugely looking forward to Ms Wake's next book ... she makes escaping so easy!

Brilliant
Just couldn't put it down and had to keep reading far too late in bed. Loved the characters and locations. Think Hugh Jackman and you can see Richard as the perfect movie star! All the characters are so clever. Jade the stroppy teenager that everyone knows and Angela her long suffering and lovely mum. So well put together and loved the twists and turns. You really wanted Carrie to be true to herself and get rid of boring Alan. As usual a lovely story that you could escape to on a horrible winters night.

A touch of Sun, sea and romance
First of Jules books I've read. I wish I could be in the Rivera with this book I felt I was. Concept was intriguing and I wondered if it could work. Carrie is engaged to marry her steady, punctual boyfriend but there is a slight problem. As a wild child drama student she married a fellow student who is now a mega movie star and still her husband. All she has to do is find him and get her divorce. And he just happens to be filming on the Rivera. Jules writing style ensures we enjoy being with Carrie as she tries to kick-start a new life and finds herself revisiting her past.

Awesome read
Another great story from Jules, who needs a passport when her description takes you right there? A storyline that keeps you hooked, just makes you want to forget cooking dinner and keep on reading. Can't wait for the next book👍
