Dear , The meaning of “LO” is that the test result is lower than the test range of the instrument. There are several aspects about the possibility of “Lo”： 1. Please check whether the test paper is out of date or wet. 2. Has the battery been used for a long time? 3. During the test, did you pinch your fingers hard? We recommend that when collecting blood, push it from your finger near your palm to your finger for blood collection. 4. Do you collect blood only when the alcohol evaporates? When taking blood, you need to wait for the alcohol to evaporate before performing a needle injection. 5. When using a test strip to collect blood, is it full at one time? You can see if the white part of the test strip is full. 6. Did the test paper properly absorb the blood? You need to place your finger on the top suction port of the test strip, not on the side. When the suction port turns red, a blood sample has been taken. I bought the monitor but once reading instructions I see it reqs you to use a control solution1st which I can't buy. Can you use a different solutio?

Hello, We'd like to tell you that this product does not contain a control solution. The control solution is a special liquid aim at testing if the test strip is OK or not. However, we have already tested the strips right after the production, you don't have to test it again. You may skip that step and use the blood glucose meter directly,please don't worry about it. I have taken multiple readings within seconds of each other and results vary by up to 1.0. Is this normal? I am washing my hands and using fresh lance

Yes it’s normal,best to stick with original reading,take readings at the same time every day because readings differ through out the day.If it’s of concern see your GP to get a test to see what difference it makes to your test reading.
