This is a great rug pad and does all that I wanted as it cushions and protects the floor giving additional insulation between the cold floor and our feet. It is a bit slippery so either carpet tape or a non-slip mat is needed in heavily trafficed areas. I feel it was well worth the money.

This did wonders for my area rug. I did not have to deal with the slipping of the 8'x10' 1/2 inch thick padding due to my living room furniture being on top of it. It added awesome padding to the area rug. Yes, it is difficult to cut, but this is an added bonus...meaning it will not rip or come apart if moved like most other carpet padding...ya'll need to keep this in mind. The thickness enhances vacuuming and has literally brought my area rug back to life, not to mention how nice it feels to walk on! I would definitely recommend this padding...felt adds an extra insulation/warmth level to hardwood floors.

Does not have grips on the back, so it will move if you don't have furniture on top of the rug holding it down. I thought a 9x12 rug on top would be heavy enough to keep this from happening, but it slides when walking on it. There will be furniture on it after it lays to flatten for a few days, so it shouldn't be a big deal. Otherwise, it's soft, a bit less plush feeling than i expected, but it was one of the cheaper ones I could find so I can't complain. Overall, I am happy with my purchase.

This is so perfect for our needs. The quality of this padding is so good. It came folded but not creased - I think it must have been folded just before shipping and that made all the difference. The price was fantastic for the quality of this padding. Would very much recommend it's purchase.

Perfect measurement for my 9X12 foot rug. It gives it a nice cushion when walking on it. There are no skid holders for the floor mat and will need furniture to hold it in place, otherwise, it will slide.

Works well under of rugs. Hopefully they will help our rugs last for a long time. I'm very pleased with the thickness of the pads. It certainly helps cushion the rugs instead of being on direct wood. I bought 6 in total. They were really affordable. They help keep our large rugs from moving. I would definitely recommend. They seem very durable and met my expectations.

Decided to not spend a ton of $$ on a fancy rug and got a basic, *but still very cute* thin 8x11 rug on Wayfair for our deep-grooved tile floor. Realized it was not going to last long like this, so I ordered this for support and it is super nice and thick and changed the whole feel! It came larger than the rug, but was very easy to trim with household scissors (that I no longer cared about and had to throw out immediately after.) would buy this again 💯👍

This was really difficult to cut, I would suggest an actual carpet cutter blade , but it’s very plush. My rug on top of this 1/2 padding does slide around on top of the pad a few inches- so now I’m buying a separate carpet to carpet pad to put between the actual 1/2 pad and the rug. I also HAD to put down a rubberized regular waffle type thin floor pad for wood floors as a base and then layer the 1/2 padding on top of it and then finally the rug on top of the 1/2 pad. The thin waffle rubber waffle pad was absolutely necessary as the 1/2 padding slid terribly and dangerously on my wood floor which is in hallway at the top of a long staircase ( 17 steps). However, buying one of those regular waffle type grippers for under rugs solved the 1/2 inch pad sliding on the wood floor and it does not move. Now I’m hoping buying a carpet to carpet gripper will stop the rug that I bought the padding for from sliding at all on the 1/2 inch pad. This means I had to buy something to put under this pad and something to put on top of it, and for that reason, I would look around again before purchasing this, even though it’s plush to put on a wood floor because it’s way too dangerous sliding around on wood floors and rugs on top will move somewhat revealing the pad. I am hoping the carpet to carpet thin pad will finally solve this problem as it was quite difficult, and you need strong hands ( I am a female with small hands) to cut the padding, and of course I cannot return it now.

I just purchased a new area rug and wanted a better under pad than what I had (just a thin gripper pad). I have a .47 pile height area rug (8x10) and wanted a 1/4” under pad. Other reviews say it is not “non slipping” but with the heavy area rug on top, it isn’t sliding anywhere! Plus I have furniture resting on 3 edges. Cuts easy with regular scissors. I love the plushness of my area rug with this under pad. Cost was a good deal for this quality underpad. I would certainly recommend it for a larger area rug.
