Another (short but) solid CITH title
We got a bunch of four dollar Cat in the Hat (CITH) books of various formats as party favors for my son's 4th birthday party. As you might expect, all of the books in this price range are no match for more expensive titles like Inside Your Outside: All About the Human Body (Cat in the Hat's Learning Library) . Those more expensive titles generally offer more bang for the buck, but sometimes it's nice to have shorter stories when you're running late. I'm reviewing the cheaper ones in relation to each other.I love the nightlife features nocturnal animals, complete with 15 small stickers which supposedly glow in the dark. These CITH format books remind me of Curious George titles like Curious George at the Aquarium . Both series are good but maybe CITH are a bit more educational. This one seems a bit shorter than others such as How Wet Can You Get? (Dr. Seuss/Cat in the Hat) (Pictureback(R)) but is still good.

The Cat Knows a Lot About The Woods
My son really likes this PBS show and I love to get him books that tie into the programs he watches. It's a simple story where the Cat in the Hat has lost his hat and recruits Nick and Sally to help him find it. For some reason he makes them do it in the middle of the night. They ask various night time forest animals for assistance and learn a little about each animal's unique talents. I only thought it was odd that they mention it's one of the "darkest nights of the year", but the moon is out in all it's glory. Ah well. I really enjoy books that rhyme and at this price it's a nice addition to the collection even though the story could have been just a tad longer.

Another great rhyming tale
Super cute book. This newer Cat in the Hat book characters match the ones in the show. Older versions of Cat in the Hat books have "Dick" instead of "Nick."

Sweet reading
Help your child or grandchild grow by leaps and bounds with any of the Dr. Seuss books. Thing One and Thing Two are my grandson's favorites.

Nice book, buta board book version would have been nicer!
The content was good. Too bad it didn't come in a board book so that my toddler grandsons could have turned the pages themselves. Even at age two, they are sometimes careless and pages tear.

Love Cat in the Hat Books!
My two little ones love all Cat in The Hat books but love these even more as they are from the new series on the TV which they watch all the time. There's not as many pages in them compared to other CITH books, especially for the price, but the kids love them all the same

A fun way to learn!
A great learning book for children, especially to accompany their learning in school. The cat in the hat makes it fun and enjoyable!

Not so Happy
Not a great book. Information on the nocturnal animals is not given much. Other titles like 'clam I am' and 'whale of a tale' are much much rich with the contens. My 4.5 yr old knows those books by heart but is not liking this book that much. I woyld say that I am lil disappointed.
