I cant tell you how much I enjoy having this. At $10.00 a 2 pack for some of the 1 lb fuel bottles this is a game changer. I had a hard time to get the fuel flow to start from the main tank at first. You really have to make sure that connection is tight. The hose allows you to have a good elevated position above the 1 lb bottels and they are usually full within haf an hour.

When one pound bottles are now over $5.00, You can fill a twenty pound tank for $23.00 and refill your empty one pound bottles about 80-85% full for a fraction of the cost. I mistakenly thought the gauge would be used to tell me when my small propane bottles had been filled. I was wrong. The gauge shows the fill level of the larger filler tank. The way to tell your small tanks have been filled is by listening.The adapter is well made and looks to last a long time. I filled 6 1lb Coleman style propane tanks from my BBQ tank as soon as I got this. It worked really well.Make sure to chill your small tanks (15 minutes in freezer). This will make a huge difference in how much propane you can get into the small tank. Fluid dynamics and pressure differentials are at play here, but I lack the knowledge to fully explain. Just chill your small tanks and you can get more propane in them.
