Not a bad running watch
A good all inclusive smart running watch with lots of interchangeable watch faces. GPS seems to be on par with my older garmin watch as well as heart rate monitor. Lots of storage for music. Battery life is good also. Only problem with watch is that it does not link to strava, if it is a deal breaker then it isn't for you.

Brilliant runners watch .. if you can live without full Strava compatibility
It *can* sync to Strava as of a recent software update .. but it still doesn't include heart rate data .. so it works but is missing this important feature. But ..All the other primary watch features are brilliant. The watch is incredibly responsive/snappy, love the built in apps .. and the Huawei health app itself is also really good and is getting better all the time.Best of all is the battery life. I run most days & it still only needs recharging once a month!!!The heart rate sensor is also incredibly accurate for a watch - gives identical results to my chest strap sensor - so I no longer wear that.If it did sync fully to Strava, I would absolutely give it 5 stars.I strongly suspect Huawei will add the extra data now they have included basic activity sync.

Great Hardware but completely useless app!
Out of the box the GT Runner feels and performs way above its price. I was really happy. However I soon realised that there is a massive problem with the Android App. I am using the watch with a Samsung phone. At the end of the day the app seems to add steps to my total. See the attached screen shot. You can see in the Step Count Source that the total of steps on the watch is 9,702, however the total for the day is 11,563? 1861 steps have been added. Even though it says there are no records for the phone (SM-A515F). I can't find where the extra steps are coming from. The phone is not set to track anything and there are no other fitness apps installed. The watch looks amazing but for tracking my activities, it simply does not work.

Strava Sync doesn’t work with iPhone
In theory this should be an excellent Watch and it is. Much more accurate than my Garmin Fenix. As a runner the main use is running and linking to Strava, there is an option to link to Strava and Runtastic, neither work. I spent hours on this and have to admit defeat. Another major issue is while the GPS map tracks perfectly the distance is wrong which also makes pace and other metrics wrong. Back in the box to be returned.

An excellent fitness watch that's good for notifications
I've owned various watches over the years and recently had Garmin devices - the Forerunner 235 and 245. I went for GT Runner as I wanted something with better notification support that still offered great fitness tracking. My thoughts:Battery Life – this is excellent and seems well on par with the Forerunner 245. I use it with raise to wake and this is very reliable. I charge my watch about every 6 days when it’s down to about 30% charge remaining. I do track my heart rate and the GPS is on quite a bit as I run a lot.Notifications – These are so much better than on a Forerunner. The quick replies to messages are very handy.Phone calls – Yes you can answer phone calls! If you have your phone with you, it come over the built-in speaker. Very handy.Run tracking accuracy – This seems OK. Slightly different results to Garmin – up and down on the same routes previously ran – so I can’t see it being a problem really.Heart Rate monitoring – This is very good on the GT Runner. I wear my watch a night now and I’m happy with the accuracy. Something I never did with the Garmin.Huawei Health app – This works well and I’m able to sync all the data to Strava – including heart rate. Now I don’t like Strava at all but it’s useful to have a single location for your activities when using different fitness watches.Closing thoughts. It’s interesting to see people complaining about problems with data sync etc. All I can say is that I’ve had zero problems, Huawei do have a good record on updates, and I’ve received many since October. Maybe they have fixed these issues which is why I haven’t seen them. Anyway, I would recommend this device to any serious runners looking for good notification support.

Amazing value. Completely changed the way I train.
Excellent sports watch and brilliant value. I've found the app and connectivity to be flawless with my android phone (oppo find X5 pro). This watch has all the features of a premium Garmin (multi band GPS, training plans, predicted times, training readiness, ECG, accurate heart rate monitoring) at an inexplicably low price. I've been really impressed with its tracking accuracy and the training plans are well balanced and have helped me take 90 secs off my 5k time in over a 4 week period. Sleep tracking seems to work ok, but sometimes misses times when I wake but lay still. Highly recommended.
