Silly Sally

All my friends and family are having babies, and when they ask for books (as a childless person) I am a bit lost. This was my favorite book when I was a child. It was one of the first I had memorized with its sing-songy rhymes. Sally is having the time of her life, looking goofy and making friends with animals, all the while headed to town. I don't know if there is any deeper meaning, but it certainly made me happy when I read it. I have yet to meet a person that knows this book, it is definitely one that won't be duplicated as a gift.

I bought this for my grandsons. They are 2 and 4 and they both love this story. It gets read over and over again. The art is adorable too!

My niece loves this book. Story is cute and perfect for teachers for Shared Reading.

This is one of my favorite preschool story books. I’ve read it thousands of times over the years. I purchased this in board book form to give to an expecting parent.

Great illustrations and funny. My grandson loves it. Sturdy pages help him to look at by himself.

This book is just delightful. It was a well loved book for both of my boys (now 16 and19).It is one of the "starter library" books I give at baby showers.

I liked the illustrations, thickness of pages, easy to read text. But it is very small. Much smaller than I expected. It will be hard for my students to be able to see, as a class sitting on the carpet.

What a fun read this board is. I enjoy reading this as much as my granddaughter enjoys hearing it daily! Print quality is good with bright colors.I am a fan of Audrey Wood for the last 30+ years!

Livro cartonado de ótima qualidade. Meu bebê de 1 ano e 3 meses consegue prestar atenção em toda história, mas eu "conto" cantando (tem a leitura cantada no youtube pra aprender o ritmo). História de repetição sobre a Sally que vai pra cidade andando de cabeça pra baixo e no caminho encontro alguns animais.

Très jolie rythme à lire, les dessins sont rigolos, ma fille de 22 mois aime bien. Le livre est en bonne qualité, confort à feuilleter.

Silly Sally was a song on my granddaughter's iPad. I found the book on Amazon and she absolutely adores it.

My 3 yo son really enjoys reading this book. He finds it hilarious. And since the text repeats itself, my son is able to read along. My son even says the words when he's playing and tries to move the same way the characters in the book move. I like it because the story gets us both laughing together.
