Yibuy #6 Golden Brass B-flat Soprano Saxophone Mouthpiece with Ligature Reed

It’s worth giving it a try as you never know if I would like it actually I LOVE IT! It’s smaller than the plastic ones! To each his own it’s good to have a variation of mouthpiece depending on the genre you play. Overall I cannot complain and I am glad I bought this mouthpiece! Couldn’t be happier!

The mouthpiece does look nice and is well finished. The opening is a bit wide so it probably isn't the best option for many players unless all you want to do is play very loud. I ligature that came with it was a bit flimsy but it does work. The mouthpiece cover, while looking good, is clearly too large and doesn't add value. One other issue was I found the opening of the mouthpiece a bit large when putting it on the neck of my sax. I had to put some tape inside of it to get a snug fit. This may not be your experience as my cork on the neck is rather old and worn down. As something to experiment with it was fine given the cost.

I am very happy with this purchase, I have finally got the sound I have been searching for. Bright and edgy while able to pull back on the air and get a nice soft sound as well. Much better than the Yibuy Silver plated #7 I tried about a year ago. I was hesitant due to the #7 I had bought but I'm really happy with this one. I highly suggest it if you are looking to save a buck or two versus some of the other metal MP's out there.

Easy blowing, tuned, brilliant sound, excelent value for money!
