My first order was 1 Melo and 1 Faskar. I wanted to compare the quality of them side by side and then purchase more of the better quality suspender. Both are highly rated and were the same price ($9.88 & $9.90). They both arrived on April 16th and I compared them. I found Melo to be the higher quality product for several reasons. It can handle taller men better because the Melo has several inches more of length capability. It will work for really tall men. That to me is an indication of quality. The clamps open a little wider than the Faskar making Melo easier to put on. Your product is slightly heavier indicating more quality. You have leather on the “X”, Faskar appears to have vinyl/plastic. I preferred Melo hardware to Faskar. Faskar is a very good product and highly rated. Your product is a step above the Faskar. I always buy the highest quality product that I find. And that is your product—the Melo.

I've tried several different brands of suspenders and they all seem to have one thing in common. The metal pieces that make up the size adjustment all dig into my chest or collar bone, and they have all gotten caught on my clothes. And invariably, they have all come apart requiring me to bend the flimsy and sharp metal pieces back into shape after they come apart. They also have the stretchy part of the suspenders both in front and in back, which by itself is not a bad thing. These suspenders, however, have an easy to adjust size piece that is smooth as heck. It holds position wonderfully well, has no sharp corners, and never catches on any of my shirts, no matter how much flannel they have. It did take some getting used to as the only part that stretches is in the back. That meant that the first time I put them on, I did it the same way I did the other ones, and that didn't work. I had to learn a slightly different way of getting my arms through. Once I had that down, I absolutely love them. I will be getting more and will donate or throw out the other ones I have. The grips that hold onto my pants have yet to slip off and they have never let loose. You will not regret your decision to try them. Just give it a bit of practice and you won't regret getting them.

Wide straps and good clips. Won't dig into skin like some cheap narrow made straps. Clips are easy to operate. I find it more comfortable to clip the back clamps on the side of the pants rather than the rear especially when sitting. The elastic part is shorter, which is a good thing, over time the elastic will break down and will not be as stretchy anyway.

These suspenders are what they say they are - very tough and durable - however, I was not aware when I purchased these that they would be so rigid - they do not have much give at all. Had I known, I would have gotten suspenders that are made completely of stretch material. The fully stretch suspenders would have been way more comfortabe and permit ease of movement when bending and turning.

Very comfortable do not pull in too shoulders even after long day. they do not come unhooked if you rub against anything.

Replaced my full elastic suspenders with these which have elastic only on the shorter back straps. Hold work pants on without sagging and good clamps for attaching. Still no problem bending or squating with just enough stretch in the suspenders.

Strong clips, good quality

The clamps on these suspenders are strong and stay put, very easy to put on. I am moving quite a bit at work, walking, sitting all day and these suspenders stay put all day long!

The fact that only the small portion of the webbing from the cross point at the back is stretchy is what I like about these suspenders. It takes a short time to get used to them but the best thing about them is your pants don't bounce up and down and un-tuck your shirt constantly. Once they are adjusted they work great and the clips are the strongest of all the suspenders I have used, I have never once had them come undone. I have had these for a year and am buying a second one today as a back up in case they do eventually start to loosen up.

I have worn suspenders at various periods of my life. At 73 years,m m wearing a belt for me is painful after having three back surgeries during my working life. Suspenders are the solution for me. These suspenders are made with a tough weave webbing and do not stretch and sag. They do not put pressure on your back. Once you set them up for length you are done, no more tightening or loosening your belt anymore. They do not stretch. If you snag it on something very sharp it will tear slightly. They are an inexpensive accessory that may not cause waves in the fashion world but may bring comfort to yours
