Great Basic Pattern
This pattern is great for anyone who does historical costume sewing, whether they be a beginning or advanced sewer. Like most of the other Truly Victorian patterns, the instructions are very straight forward and easy to use. What's nice about this pattern is you can make it as simple or elegant as you want just through a few changes, so it's a great pattern to add to anyone's collection for regular use. As I note with all these patterns though, if you are taller than 5'6", you may need to add 2 or 3 inches to the hemline.
