LeapFrog Leapster Learning Game: Penguins of Madagascar

of all our leapster games, our son likes this one the best! It has a bowling game that he especially loves which is greater than/less than game. Also supports the addition facts. He does them over and over so he learns without it seeming like work. The penguins have funny sayings and he can play the games independently. The other games are easy to play such as the karate one which is an alphabet game. Sells for $25 in the store so buy it on amazon.

I got this for my son before the long car ride season began in the heart of summer. I wanted to keep him preoccupied. Boy did it work. He loves to play the Penguins game and he loves that as you progress you collect animal cards. He is so proud of himself each time he gets a new card. None of the other Leapster games has kept his interest as much as this one.

Bought this a few years ago. Held my 6 yr old son's interest for hours and hours over at least a period of a year or more. He liked playing it in 'trophy mode' to attain tons of trophies. He is in second grade now and describes it as 'fun, but kindergarden stuff'. Looking forward to my almost 4 year old getting into it.

We purchased this as a birthday gift for our 6 year old granddaughter and it was a huge hit. Both she and her 4 year old brother have enjoyed it so much that we bought a second Leapster for another family birthday--along with additional games of course. It seems to have replaced their portable DVD player as their favorite travel entertainment. Definitely a fun game for this age group!

Different levels can be played, my little nephew is always on the go, and Internet is not always available, fun game he can grow into.

My just turned 3 year old loves this game because he loves the penguins. They spit on the correct answer & he laughs..lol. repetive pick out the letter/numbers. He enjoys it.I would not spend more than say $20-.

I bought this for my son for Christmas. he is 4yo. He really seems ot enjoy the game and is able to play it with ease.

Buyer beware! I did a search on Amazon for "Leapster Explorer" games and this one came up in the list. It got great reviews and my grandson loves the Penguins so I ordered it for his birthday. He was so excited when he opened it but as soon as he opened the box I realized it was NOT going to fit his Leapster Explorer game system. He was so disappointed and so was I.Now it is too late to return it and I'm stuck with a useless game cartridge. The descriptions for the Leapfrog cartridges should very clearly show what game systems they will work with. A picture of the actual cartridge would be extremely helpful.

This was purchased by me for my granddaughter. As far as I know lshe likes it. Deliver was good and speedy
