I've been buying the same brand of individual hibiscus tea bags from this company for a couple of years and love the flavor! When I saw the pitcher bags I decided to try them because I make a half gallon jar at a time. This is my second bag, which I should not have purchased (forgot to take it off my subscribe & save) because the flavor is not the same as the individual bags. It's much more earthy than the more fruitier (for lack of a better word) individual bags. I discovered a little bit of lime helped detract from the flavor and made them drinkable, but I went back to the individual bags this week to see if there really was a difference and there is!

As a doctor, I can tell you without question that this product is not herbal & has caffeine in it. The taste of it is also unmistakable. Additionally, it is not the bright color of hibiscus as shown on the product packaging but brews up much darker than it should with only hibiscus & citrus ingredients, more like a rust color. Better to find a products whose ingredients are hibiscus only, which is delicious on its own. No need to add anything.

I thought I was buying individual tea bags for a cup of tea but these are for a pitcher of tea. Not a big deal as this tastes good, and I get to drink more without making a new cup every time.

I love the taste of this tea. I can’t do caffeine at all and this tea has great flavor. It also has medicinal properties. Look it up to find those properties out.
