Works Perfectly
I used this to replace an original 30+ year old Honeywell motor unit that locked up preventing the valve from shutting. The replacement motor is at the top of the photo and an original Honeywell motor at the bottom. The only difference between the two motors is the lettering on them.It was a simple installation and it was an exact fit with no modifications. The valve opens and closes flawlessly now. I just had to be careful with my senior fingers not to drop and lose the mounting screw. It’s been nearly two years and it’s been problem free. Hopefully, it’ll last as long as the original Honeywell motor units.

New device works as advertised
Valve now open and close with no problem. Removing the old device had a stubborn screw that created a frustrating removal/installation experience. It would be nice if the new device came with a new screw.

Works on Honeywell zone damper
It does replace a Honeywell M847D1004 with a small modification. As another review pointed out the gear sticks out a little further than factory but these gears are usually made of a soft metal so they are easily sanded or filed to size. I ran mine on my belt sander for about a second and it was enough to remove approximately .02” enough to make it fit. It’s been working excellent for a couple months now saving a lot of money.

Solved the Problem
I watched a YouTube video on how to install it and the heating zone works now. I may get another one as a back-up for the other zones.

Doesn't replace motor on Honeywell M847D1004 zone valve actuator even tho it seems like it should
Specs and photos of this motor make it look like a replacement for the motor in M847D1004 actuator. 24vac, 6W, 4 RPM, and output gear has same number of teeth. However, it doesn't have enough torque to overcome the return-spring tension and doesn't open the valve fully. Also, the output gear extends father out of the housing, so it interferes with the tab on the valve-opener mechanism, so the valve doesn't close fully either. The original motor pulls 370ma current, while this motor only pulls about 280ma, which may account for the lower torque. See the attached photos for clarification.

Not a good replacement for 4RPM spring return actuators.
As others have indicated. This motor assembly has no torque. I was trying to repair a spring return actuator. Wouldn't even provide enough torque to overcome the spring. Definitely NOT a 6W motor.
