I have an Afro-Bohemian-style home. I got this rug because I liked the material and wanted something to cover my wood floor and protect it. We have two dogs who shed notoriously, one struggling with potty training. Day 1 - one of our dogs peed on the rug. I was worried about it but knew it was inevitable, so I used my wet vacuum to clean it, and it worked. Granted, I have a pretty good quality wet vac; there was no damage to the fibers. We use a vacuum with the option for wood floors, which is gentle on the pull and works very well with the rug.I can see how, over time, the rug can get frayed and undone, but for the cost - for now, it will be fine for us. Our dogs don't dig or rip things up, bringing the space together.

The media could not be loaded. I’m really pleased with the quality of this rug. Not only is it beautiful and the color matches the water hyacinth/seagrass decor but it’s soft under foot. This is a very heavyweight rug. I don’t even have to put rug holders on the corners and it laid flat right away. Happy with this purchase.

This rug is 💯 Jute made in India 🇮🇳. This rug has a earthy smell once you open it, but after a few hours the smell is gone. I have had Jute rugs mixed with synthetic and of course did not bring the smell. Be aware that you are buying 💯 Jute rug! Having said that, the rug itself is beautiful and it gives a natural earthy look to my place. Easy to clean and vacuum and it seems that is hand made! I use 2 rugs for my living room and this one goes first and I then cover it with a second rug, that way I protect it from tearing. I would not recommend it as an outdoor rug unless is a cover outdoor area.

It's a good looking rug, quality seems good so far. It came well packed. I was crossing my fingers that it didn't look the same as the photos in some bad reviews I read, luckily it was the opposite. I gave it 4 stars because I had to pick it up at the local post office myself instead of having it delivered to my door like the description said "free shipping". I ordered an 8x10 rug, it's long and a bit heavy, but I put it inside the car myself and I also took it out of the car so I didn't understand why they didn't send it to my home. Just because I have to carry it myself lol, I only hope that this jute rug lasts a long time without pilling.🤞

I absolutely love this rug! Super comfortable to walk on and my coffee table with casters glides over it good when I need to move it for vacuuming. My cat love it too! Lol. He thinks it’s a scratching post! Luckily he doesn’t have front claws or he’d have this thing shredded in no time. I do have to roll it up about once a week to vacuum under it which is no big deal. My robo vac rolls over the rug great too! That was a bit of a concern for me but it has worked out amazing. I’ve gotten a ton of compliments on the rug.

Unraveling , shedding, coming unstitched , just doesn’t look good and kind of a hazard. Rolled it up . Going to try to use insurance to return.

We bought this rug right before the holiday. I was nervous buying a rug online without seeing it in person. It arrived and I was pleasantly surprised! The only thing I would do differently or suggest to another buyer is to grab a rug pad to put under it. It does slip slightly. I was also concerned that it would not be comfy to the barefoot and it is soft to the touch! I does shed slightly.
