The numbers are powder coated in a gold tone not polished brass which for me was okay. If you want polished brass numbers then you will need to choose a different manufacturer.I purchased 4 numbers for my house. There are no step by step instructions but they are easy to figure out how to mount. There was supposed to be a template for each number that you use to locate where to drill holes in the surface you that allows you to match up with the mounting studs, only two of the 4 numbers came with the template. I was able to create my own template so for me it wasn't a huge problem.Overall I'm happy with the numbers.

Love these numbers. They look sleek and modern. Seem to be high quality and solid. Pretty easy to install. We've received multiple compliments from neighbors.

These numbers are great! Feels solid. Nice smoothe finish. Not the same gold as in the picture description, so one star down for that but that's my only critique. The color works for me nonetheless. It's perfect otherwise. Will see how it holds up to the weather. Will update my review after a few months if any changes.

These floating numbers appeared to be nice, and I'm sure would have worked well, however I ended up returning them. I initially purchased them as replacements for 2 numbers that had come off of the mailbox, however when I went to install them I discovered that several other numbers were broken and about to fall off. I found a different style at a local hardware store that were cheaper and worked. Not as fancy as these floating numbers but accomplish what I need. I don't know where the original floating numbers were purchased when this house was built 5 years ago...but that is something to think about as well, that the numbers fell off of a mailbox after only 5 years.

I ordered only the B because when had ordered all the numbers and letter I needed from a different vendor, after waiting many weeks for the order to be delivered, the B was not included. From this Vendor, it came within two days and it is good quality.

The color in the product photos shows a bright gold finish. In truth it’s like Dijon mustard. Not bright at all. This is the second order we have been disappointed by. first we bought the bronze because the gold looked too bright. The bronze isn’t smooth bronze it’s a black pitted finish of this same dark mustard color. If your looking for high end, these aren’t it. My picture makes it look better than it is.

If these numbers are supposed to be floating and there is supposed to be a spacer that goes between the number and the house then where are the spacers. I don't understand how you can advertise they are floating and forget the part that makes them consistently floating. Now I have to go find some spacers.
