Traditional Greek Easter Egg Red Dye, by Optima Foods, 5-pack

The color is a nice red. However the eggs, even though they turned a bit red, but not as seep a color as anticipated.

I wasn't able to order the dye from my usual vendor, so this was the only one available. Worst egg dye ever, no matter what we tried doing, beautiful deep red eggs were not happening. On a good note, although not pretty, we cracked eggs & had a beautiful Easter celebration!!

This egg dye is horrible!! When they first came out of the dye they looked ok but as they dried the weird marbling happened. Definitely will not buy again and I don’t recommend it to anyone else!

Im not confident this is approved for food. Extreme drying agent, color dries matte, even after the oil rub. Wouldn't recommend even for just egg color. Maybe a shirt or a sock. Nothing edible.

If I could rate this dye below zero I would. I have dyed eggs before and I had no issue. The eggs didn’t dye at all. Stay away
