Effective, very well made!
This rack is everything I’ve been looking for—except for a modest price that is! But it’s worth the money as it just precisely fits my very narrow area (SEE PIC) ideally, keeping level, and it’s heavy and so well made and effective and drains so conveniently anywhere you need. The only issue I can see is the drain hole is rather small, and I can see it’s going to need occasional cleaning or vinegar soaking (I have very hard water) to maintain open flow.Another reviewer griped about the tray being perfectly flat and it didn’t drain for her. This is not true! It’s angle-slopped on all 4 sides to guide the water right to the drainage hole, providing it’s sitting level. Mine drains perfectly.

Fits Perfectly and Looks Good Too
I needed a new dish drainer but I have a pretty small kitchen and not much space for a regular size one on my counter. I recently bought a new stove and the grates take up more room on the top surface of the stove and since they get so hot, I can't keep anything too close to the stove and now I had even less room. I must have looked at 50 compact dish drainers but this was the only one that really fit and it looks very handsome in my white kitchen. And even though it is smaller than the compact one I had before, I can still fit in almost as much stuff in it. I clean most dishes in the dishwasher so I don't really need to dry dishes from scratch but some things come out not quite dry. Even though the utensil holder looks small, it is sturdy and holds almost the same amount of stuff.

Sturdy, quality, drains well
Even though this rack has a small footprint, you can really fit a lot in there and it has held up for years in my kitchen. I love that you can angle the drain port to a position that’s convenient and the white finish has never rusted or tarnished.

Nice dish rack, minor improvements would make it better
Very sturdy and well built. Compact size and efficient design so it holds more than you’d think. It looks nice enough to leave on the counter and is inconspicuous. The wires could be spaced better. My plates don’t stand by themselves in the middle and need to lean on other dishes or be propped up by the sides. The spout moves to either long or short side, but could be slightly longer. It works better with an under mounted flush sink. Overall I would recommend.

Looks Great. Works Great. Solid, High Quality, Sturdily Made. Money Well Spent. No Regrets!
02/2023: Still perfect and going strong!3/2021: Still perfect. No paint chips. No rust. A bit of calcium build up from the hard water where I live. Love this thing and use it daily.12/2018: Looks great. Works great. Solid and high quality. So sturdily made with thick metal that I can actually dry my heavy All-Clad pots and lids as well as Pyrex glass containers in it. And fits perfectly in a small space to the right of my sink, between the edge and the wall. I purchased this along with another cheaper one and ended up sending the cheaper one back because it just couldn't compare. I have a very large kitchen but didn't want an unsightly and huge dish rack taking up countertop real estate. I thought it was crazy to pay $50 for a small-ish dish rack. After using it happily for two months, I can say it was money well spent. No complaints. No regrets!!!

Drains the water so you don’t have keep soggy towels underneath
Cute little dish rack that holds a decent amount of dishes though it’s probably best for two person house holds or those that also have a dishwasher and just need a dish rack for a few items at once. I love that the water drainer spout can be turned so you can position this next to your sink however you prefer.I find that it shows water spots on the bottom rather quickly but its super easy to clean. I just give it a quick wipe with some non toxic cleaner and a paper towel in between loads and it looks good as new again. With this dish rack I never have to deal with bacteria laden mats or soggy hand towels sitting underneath again.

Amazed
I purchased this in the Fall of 2019. It has met all my expectations. The dimensions of this dish rack is PERFECT, PERFECT, PERFECT, for my countertop. Over the years I have found not found a dish racks for kitchens with limited space until now. This is a well thought out design. YAMAZAKI GOT IT RIGHT. Any small scuff marks came from me drying heavy duty pots. Because I take care of my things, any scuff marks disappeared or was mininmized with small amount of soft cleanser. My product has never rusted. Neither has it buckled under the weight of my heavy pots. Lately, I was concerned about water from "dishes" that spilled on my countertop and not in the sink as designed. Therefore, I was contemplating purchasing the mat.Addendum: I solved the "leaky water" issue. When I cleaned the dish rack, I inadverently hung the utensil cup outside and not inside as designed. As a result, I do not need to purchase the dish mat. I may still purchase another rack for insurance. I am very happy I did not let some of those negative reviews prevent me from this making this fine purchase. THANK YOU YAMAZAKI!!!
