The media could not be loaded. The ceiling fan works as well as it looks with its 3 black blades and gold accents. Installation took some extra time because 1) steps had to be followed in a precise order otherwise the parts wouldn't fit, 2) screws weren't labeled and sorted accurately in the zip bags. After assembling the fan and installing the mounting bracket to the ceiling, 1) thread and connect the wires from the power adapter through the bracket (move them into a cable box if you have one) 2) place the downrod onto the mounting bracket and thread though and secure the safety chain with the power adapter slightly off to the side 3) move the adapter back in place and secure with a screw 4) secure the canopy over the brackets. (I had to add an extra gold piece between my fan and ceiling because the hole for my previous ceiling fan was too large).The fan itself is very quiet and pairs easily with Alexa or Google (with WiFi) and the white light, yellow light, and fan can be smart controlled individually via phone or voice. However, you do need to download the free Carro Home app. The fan should be connected to a continuous power source and not operated by a switch, otherwise, you will have to keep re-pairing the remote controller whenever it is switched off.Pros:-Smart controls; compatible with Alexa and Google-Quiet, zero wobble-White and yellow lights, bright!-Modern-lookCons:-Not a simple installation (best to leave it to a professional)-Average price range-OK airflowAfter the installation, I am very satisfied with this ceiling fan.

Unsure exactly what the issue was, but the lights blinked off/on every so often. sellers saw my previous review and reached out to me and sent me a new module asap. I swapped it out, super simple, seems to have solved the issue. One more to install, hopefully that one has no issues, but if it does I’m sure it’ll be rectified very quickly, as the sellers were very responsive and great to work with.

I bought three of these fans back in October, and all of them have been a nightmare.All three of them make a ton of noise, clicking, popping and grinding. So loud they wake us up or distract us from work.The one in my bedroom constantly malfunctions. I’ll adjust the settings to where I want them, fan on and lights off at night so I can sleep. Then, in the middle of the night, the fan will suddenly shut off and the light will turn on right in my face at full brightness, waking me up. None of the other two fans were on when this happened, so it’s not like the remote signals interfered with each other. I’ve tried turning it off and on, unplugging it, turning it off at the breaker. I’ve removed the fan and all it’s data from the app and reconnected it, dozens of times. Nothing has fixed the problem.I spent so much money on these things, thinking they would be more accessible for me and my disabled parents. Buts they’re nothing but headache inducing garbage. Worst purchase I’ve ever made off Amazon. Do yourself a favor and stay away. These are terrible, the worst fans I’ve ever had. I live in Texas and summer is almost here, we have to have functional ceiling fans. So now I’m going to have to replace three brand new fans, I’m so upset. I’d give these zero stars if I could.

It may say it’s for outside but it was the only black smart fan we could find to match our black ceiling so we gave it a shot and we are so glad we did!

We were using the fan only at night, while sleeping. We usually turn off the lights and use only fan. After about 10 days, lights started turning on and fan gets stopped every 1 hour automatically. It caused disturbed sleep since we had to manually switch off the lights and turn on fan every 1 hour. Imagine buying a fan to get an undisturbed sleep and then this happens. It was such a pain and we are returning this fan. Damn upset about whole thing and extremely disappointed.
