I have two of these, one that I bought in 2019 and one I just purchased last month. The one from 2019 is holding up well - very scratched on the outside but no effect on performance. I just bought another so I wouldn't have to keep cleaning it every night. The insulation is out of this world...I make my tea when I get up at 5 and when I get to the office at 7, it's still too hot to drink. I've taken to taking the lid off and letting it cool like that so I don't have to wait until lunchtime to drink anything! Very sturdy little mugs, no issue with leaking as long as you make sure the lid is screwed on correctly, and does an amazing job keeping what you put in it hot. Would recommend.

My husband and I have used these mugs for several years traveling around Europe and also US and everyday at home. Drinks are kept cold from 8 in the morning until night time in the hot Florida sun. I do put the lid in the dishwasher but no the cup itself washing that our daily by hand. There is no staining on the interior. I love how they fit side by side in our car and RV cup holders. The good grip means they seldom get dropped but never spill. The outside is never hot or cold to touch so we appreciate the lack of handles that would get in the way. Just yesterday my cup started leaking. I immediately ordered another but this morning we discovered I was missing a gasket on the lid. Amazon reorder of gasket coming in tomorrow.

I love my Contigo bottles. Good heat/cold length times, sturdy bottle, sip lock lid. The company needs to sell replacement lids as the Achilles Heel of the lid is the tiny rubber seal gasket in the lid which is easily distorted by over tightening the lid. Hint, only snug the lid until no water beads out. The lid is a little difficult to clean, but not bad. The bottle inside bottom needs a long handled narrow metal scrubber to clean out the slow buildup from coffee, tea, chocolate stains but is otherwise easy to clean.

I got the midnight berry color. I have used this brand and model of cup for years. This is my third one in like 7 years. My second 24oz. The newer ones have grip issues. I bought my bf one 2 years ago and the grip is loose. We had to get him another because he dropped the seal and it was never to be found again so it leaked, and that grip was also loose. This one that I ordered, again the grip is loose. It twists and actually will slide up with minimal effort when bottle is dry, and even more so when its wet. My old ones didnt do this, but the newer model does. I have included a photo showing that it slides. I have carpal tunnel so its not like I strong armed it. Aside from that, its not nearly as sparkly as the image suggests. Which i was sad about but im more about the function. I LOVE it because it stays cold forever. I fill it halfway with ice, and still have a small chunk of ice left after 10 hours if im drinking out of it, and if I leave it closed and untouched overnight( I take it to bed with me so I have cold water at night) it has most of its ice by morning. I typically sleep 9-10 hours for reference. The lid is pretty easy to over screw and gets really tight. My old one started leaking after like 4 or 5 years. Thats why I got the new one. Its pretty durable. I dropped this baby on concrete from 12ft high. It got rather dented on the bottom and I just took a hammer to it to flatten it back out. My lid dented near the mouth piece. But I probably dropped it on concrete at work over 60 times. It scratched, it dented but still worked just fine for years. I have rather small hands but it seems yo be fine to hold, even if I do have carpal tunnel. I dont use it for anything hot so I cant vouch on that topic. I hand wash the lid daily and the cup itself weekly. The little rubber seal in the lid can be a bit of a pain to pull out, but you can GENTLY get it out with a toothpick and some patience. Its very important to throughly wash and dry that little rubber seal. You can get sick if you dont. OK, review over.

If I could give this a 4 1/2 stars, I would. Is this the best travel mug I have use? Yes, so far. I have spent a lot to find a travel mug that actually keeps my coffee hot. This is the closest I have found, and I even tried a Yeti. There are two things that I did not like about the Yeti. 1. The cover didn't seal, making it easy to spill. 2. It would keep the coffee relatively warm for maybe up to an hour, but that's all.This cup has a top that seals, and it keeps my coffee fairly warm (warmer than the Yeti) for four or more hours. AND, it was less expensive. Will there ever be a coffee cup that beats this one? Possibly. Hopefully. But until then, this is now my go to.

I love these coffee cups. They are the perfect size, wash very well and last a long time. They never leak out the top and keep my tea hot. Well definitely buy again.
