Overall, this was a great purchase for me. It performs greatly for the price. I got the 8gb ram stick for my Lenovo Legion to make it a 16gb ram machine. It runs smoothly and with no problem. I can run Rust, Rainbow, Tomb Raider, Outer Worlds, Fallout 4, or any game I have thrown at so far. If you have the right graphics card, you can trust this product to ensure to give the best performance. I had this for about 2 months now. I usually of course express if there is any problem with the actual Ram Stick, however, it was easy to install, (like any other Ram stick), and worked like a charm. I recommend it.

I bought this to expand my ASUS X555Q laptop from 8GB to 16GB memory. This memory was fast and one of the least expensive. I received it quickly and (by opening the 'hatch' on the bottom of the laptop) it snapped right in place.When I powered the laptop back up, it recognized it immediately and reported 16GB. This is a Win10 machine, so having the extra memory really helps out with the development/programming I'm doing.

Works great and was recognized without issue in Dell 2 in 1 laptop I recently purchased. The laptop was having an issue running multiple programs at the same time with only 4 GB installed. It was such a good price I figured adding a stick of RAM is cheaper than the price difference between a higher end laptop. The added RAM has solved the lagging between switching apps and loading website pages now works better than I could have hoped.

For being one of the most inexpensive RAM sticks you can buy, this is almost a necessary upgrade for most laptops.I only gave 3 stars for "Presentation" because the packaging was just a small clear plastic box with some stickers on it, and it was just tossed loose into a big cardboard box with an oil filter I'd also ordered. There was some bubble wrap in the box but not actually wrapped around either item.I installed this in an Acer Aspire R5-571T. It came with 8GB of RAM and maxes out at 12GB. 4GB of the original 8GB the laptop comes with are on board, so there is only one slot. Obviously this Crucial RAM was as easy to install as any other; the hardest part is taking off the bottom cover of the laptop.Obviously there is a noticeable increase in the performance of my laptop. Don't expect miracles, though. It cleared up the lag I was experiencing when watching videos that were saved on my HDD, and that's all I wanted out of the RAM increase, so I am happy with it.If anything changes I'll update my review.

I like the quality and feel of the memory, however when I ordered an 8Gb 2666 chip, I received an 8Gb 2400 chip which is throttling my previous memory. It works with no issues, I just wish they would have gotten my order right. Otherwise, it would be 5 stars.

I bought my wife a new Lenovo laptop for Christmas as she has had her old ASUS for several years now and even though she only uses it for basic stuff like checking social media and preparing lesson plans for her job, it was slow as molasses. I thought with a new Pentium 8th Gen Core 3 processor and 4Gigs of ram already onboard, I thought the Lenovo Ideapad 330 would be a big improvement over her old one. Boy was I wrong! It was just as slow! After doing some research I discovered that the 4G of ram was onboard memory and that the sodimm slot was just sitting there empty begging for some company. I liked the reviews and design (yes I know it doesn't matter b/c it's inside the laptop, but never the less...) so I decided to give this Ballistix 8Gb memory stick a try. I installed it as soon as I arrived and I tell you what.. IT WAS FREAKING WORTH EVERY PENNY! Her laptop zooms now. The memory is no longer hovering at about 80-90% usage like it used too and now running multiple applications it is only pushing maybe 30%. If your laptop needs a boost, I highly recommend buying this. Just make sure that it is compatible.

I got this ram for a laptop I recently brought(Asus FX705) due to performance issues I was having with the 8gb I had. Adding this gave my laptop new life as its performing a lot more better then it did before. When I only had 8gb of ram programs would freeze to the point I had to complete restart my computer adding another 8gbs gave my laptop breathing space as its handling everything I throw at it perfectly even games are performing decent enough. I think I just might buy another to replace that ram stick that came with my laptop so both my rams will be the same brand. highly recommend this ram

Misleading title. It says it’s 2666 MHz speed but it also says it ONLY goes up to 2400 MHz. Making this a Speed of 2400 MHz ram stick not a 2666mhz. I checked in command prompt for the speed of the ram and it showed there as 2400 and also checked cpu-z, same thing. I happen to have a extra 2400 to go together with this to replace the 2666 I actually had.

funciono de maravilla aumente mi ram a 16gb de 8gb que traia la parte gris es una estampa no es disipador pero para una memoria ram NO NECESITA disipasion pasiva 3 generaciones de ram y no se usaban esos que se quejan es por simple mercadotecnia y recuerden las rams en laptops estan cubiertas por el cover inferior de plástico en msi esa parte trae ventilación pero en otras vienen tapadas asi que aun asi no les sirve la disipación dim,ddr,ddr2, no tenian disipasion en ddr3 aparecieron algunas ahora en ddr4 ya es obligatorio ya todas traen pero la vdd no lo necesitan la memoria o tipo que usan no presentan un riesgo de trabajo la temperatura que manejan

Aprovechando las ofertas de prime day decidí comprar la memoria Ballistix Sport LT 16GB Single DDR4 2666 MT en un solo modulo para actualizar mi laptop Acer Aspire A515-43 pues solo viene con 4gb, en verdad no me arrepiento, la reconoció sin problemas y ahora tengo 20 gigas, si antes era rápida ahora literalmente vuela! lo único que trabaja a 2400 mhz, en mi caso no hay problema, pues aproveche el precio en la que estaba, mas mi descuento fue una ganga comprarla y mas que uso photoshop e illustrator cc 2019 me ayudo demasiado.

Good for normal use. Packaging was good. Delivery took almost a week time. Seems good quality as it is from Crucial brand.

Dieser Arbeitsspeicher hat super abgestimmte Timings (CL14-15-15-15-34) bei 2400Mhz. Das kommt besonders den Latenzabhängigen Prozessoren der AMD RYZEN Mobil Familie sehr zu gute und hilft die CCX Geschwindigkeit hoch zu halten und die Latenzen niedrig. Entgegen der Behauptung von AMD, dass nur 8GB Erweiterung möglich sind (also 4GB onboard + 8GB Stick) habe ich auch die 16GB erfolgreich in einem Lenovo S145-15API getestet. Dies hatte jedoch keinen Performancegewinn mehr zur Folge und da der PC nur zum Surfen genutzt wird waren 12GB dann doch genug (2GB davon gehören der Grafikkarte, somit bleiben 10 zum Arbeiten). Damit wurde der Laptop fähig Resident Evil 2 Remake von 2019 auf Low-Medium Details mit 90% Renderscale bei 1080P auf der integrierten VEGA Grafik zu spielen. Alles in allem bin ich von dem Speicher restlos begeistert.

This is the second ram stick i have bought to upgrade my system. Works as advertised, all you need to check is if you get the XMP option in your boot menu. Ballistix is a reputable company and very popular for its products, the guys who rated it 1 star should have done a little more research before buying this ram.
