HobbyStar HS-400 Gyro, Adjustable Stability Control System, Drift-Assist - Red

This is my second add on gyro for my 1/10 scale trucks. This one works great. It has a dip switch for Analog or Digital servo and a reversing switch. It worked right out of the box. I reversed the gyro to see what would happen and yes, it makes your R/C flip and roll. What a great way to teach a new driver what counter steering is all about. Just install this right and it works great.I love the aluminum case. With a little electrical tape over the top it is protected from the Arizona Desert Dust that tears up everything.Another great feature is that you can wire up the sensitivity using a separate channel. I put the sensitivity lead on channel 3 and setup my radio for it to be a rotary knob, now I can adjust sensitivity on the fly.Placement is everything on a gyro. It has to be flat. If you put it sideways, it won't work. It needs to be as close to center line as possible and as far forward as possible. The gyro is trying to keep itself moving in a straight line. If it is sideways on the side of your vehicle it will not work.Not all car chassis are able to use theses effectively.I hope this helps. It is a simple solid state gyro that does its job. If it isn't working for you, check your setup.

Horrible add-on looks good but doesn't work very well in fact I would have been better without it just broke my entire chassis be because of gyro
