Crap
No instructions. Pole bent and several pieces broke while putting it on. The center cloth piece stays open but should have velcro or something closing it after you put the poles in. If this would have been around $20 I would have considered keeping and rigging it. But since it was $55, I sent it back. NOT WORTH THE MONEY!

Must Buy For Kayakers!!
I take this shade with me every time I kayak! Does not interfere with fishing or paddling and is extremely easy to assemble. I put it together and take it apart altogether in under 5 minutes. A life saver for those who want to spend a nice day at the lake without getting completely burnt by the sun.

It was great untill I pulled the nose down past 45deg
I like the shade while riding my e-trike for me and passenger . But I needed to pull the nose down to not catch to much air while riding. turns out when i pulled the nose down the back bends broke. I tryed to contact the seller but Theres no contact info to see if i can buy just the metal piece.

Big frame, lots of sprung pressure to overcome
Rod frame is REALLY big when assembled. Someone mentioned bending the top rods to fit, but that can snap the rods. Allow lots of room for setup, because the frame is big and the rods can smack into your car, furniture, people. You have to slowly bring the ends of the frame together under very strong sprung pressure. Then you have to work the canopy over the frame and slide it on. Having two people would really help, or brace one side of the frame against a wall as you move the other side toward it, while trying to manage the canopy. Go slow.Once on the kayak it's a little floppy from side to side but manageable in low wind.

very very very very much the most disappointing trash on Amazon.
Just pure junk so unstable that there is no way it belongs in the marine world do not buy this crap... terrible engineering no thought towards durability and the issues that a kayaker will face even on a calm lake if you bought one of these toss it in the trash.... so did not work unless you want to duck tape it to a lawn chair and sit on your deck with it but even then expect it to fold up and break so cheap it is not even worthy of being called cheap ... 100% sub junk bottom dwelling trash... seriously folks do not buy this trash.
