Fan of the author
I bought this talk after hearing the author speak on a youtube video. The writing was very easy to read because of her style and I really liked the examples from the 1980s and 1990s.

Little analysis just facts
The text is packed full of facts on each crash, which makes it a little indigestible. However the main problem is the lack of analysis. What i mean is there is very little on the underlying causes of each crash. And almost nothing on the commonalities between the crashes. Inevitably this means there is no discussion of the common warning signs that a crash may be coming. Which is what i was hoping the book would cover. I hoped the final chapter might pull it all together but no it was basically a lot of facts about the current Chinese financial landscape.
