Along the way she finds new companions and learns that the island is cursed and anyone who sets foot on the island will have their life span shortened and the only way to counteract it is to drink from a magical fountain. But drinking from the magical fountain will change a person from human form. Will Sophia succeed in her mission?The book is an engrossing adventure transporting the readers to a magical island. Including thethemes of courage, friendship and sacrifice, the book weaves a story full of action, adventure and emotional moments. It's a fantastic piece of fantasy, blended with a bunch of enchanted, mysterious as well as emotional chronicles, aggregately formed a compact engaging read.The moment, Sophia's dreams of being an artist shattered, she gets an access to a new island which she discovered later to be a land of magic. When she became an inhabitant, gradually she comes to know about the curse on the island and soon it's revealed that she's the saviour .After that his voyage begins, a journey, full of ups and downs when he makes both friends and enemies and the journey continues further.The imagination and consummate orientation of the author has been proven worthy. The balanced extent of thrill, shudder, notion, propagation along with the illuminative depiction have constructed a complete new universe.Besides, the fluidity in narration, lucid vocabulary have provided an attractive dynamics to the storyline.The characters have been built strongly and each of them has contributed major events to the story. The explicit presentation by the author has brought the characters more lively in between the two covers.Overall it had absorbed the readers into its vast magical palace.
