Makes You.Stop . . .and think!
Timothy Hogan never disappoints; he writes in an easy style that is fully accessible and never talks down to the reader. However be prepared to stop on most pages and just think. As a freemason and rosicrucian I found this book fascinating and thought provoking; it brought into the light some knowledge we all should consider.Read it and think about the contents - you won't regret it.

Need and deserves a second read, possibly a third and an open mind.
Hogan's book was interesting, particularly in the manner or way he had in allowing obvious similar characteristics within the range of beliefs, faiths or forms of religion. It is obvious his mind and his style is open to the familiarizes, that some of the more dogmatic, it might be said the hide bound believers might or would find objections to the possibilities, that there are similiar concepts. That each faith should be studied in an nonjudgmentalfashion, It might be said some of the so termed modern religious views could do well to with a clear eye review the other doctrines and discover the similarities. Some passages, some views I found it was important to read a second time to find the meaning, yea even a third time.Interesting enough that as person should read the concepts carefullyNe

I nearly died when I was 19. That near death experience revealed to me a thread that could be traced among all of the worlds inner traditions. I have been heavily seeking every clue I can find about The Primordial Tradition since then. It is our duty, our responsibility to not let the knowledge of who we are, where we came from, and where we are going die. Brother Hogan is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to unearthing even the subtlest details of this tradition long forgotten by the world of the profane.

Excellent Book
At 45 years old, I am not a young man, but I am just now finding my Way on the path. But I have very quickly realized that Tim Hogan's books (all of them) are "must have" tools for the kit of every craftsman and searcher. This book shines the light on who we were, who we are, and who we should be. It sits on the shelf of my home library along with Brother Hogan's other books, calling for me to read them again and again, so that I can share them with the world. Ben.

Best Book this year
Best Book this year!!Not only does this book do a great job at putting the pieces together, but the discussion on the brotherly union and cooperation of the various schools is truly inspiring! As the leader of the Fraternity of the Hidden Light, I pass my thanks and congratulations along to the author. Well done, my brother, WELL DONE!!

Wonderful!
Wonderful book, and in the spirit of unification and Universality. The Ideal that the author represents here, imho, stands up to forces of sectarian destruction.
