ROU11070 Gorilla V-Series Axe 0.6kg/1¼lbs, Black Yellow

I've been using this for a couple of months now attacking smaller trees and branches in an overgrown garden and it's been perfect. It looks great, it's sturdy, has some weight too it and most importantly the blade is very sharp. Decent size for my hands so not a huge backswing needed to cut through the wood but cuts through ease. Great value for money and very easy to use. Just remember to take off the protective covering or it'll cut right through it.

Light and strong great hand Axe

Excellent and well balanced axe for hand work and it has a hammer head if you need to bang a few nails in. You will need to sharpen it, but it's a good axe, ergonomic handle as well.

Tricky to use while holding the phone and bit early to write a review seeing as I've yet to properly use it, first let me say like most this axe arrives with a dull edge, about 30 mins on a 400 grit oil stone has me almost slicing paper, well adequate for this type of axe and not it's intended purpose, the blade profile and weight make it ideal for splitting, got a fiver off the price and free delivery so good value and will make my life easier, splitting with the felling axe was not much fun. Remember this is still a cheap axe so will require regular sharpening.

No hesitation in recommending Roughneck tools. This axe no exception. Just use it for sticks for fire but excellent balance and quality build. Watch your fingers it’s super sharp out of the box.

When I received this tool, it was very well packaged in every way. I used it in an afternoon, but was quite surprised to find that the rubber grip on the handle was beginning to crack/split., which I re-glued. It’s a nicely weighted tool for what I want, but the rubber handle doesn’t look as if it’s going to last all that long, but that’s an easy fix as and when. Very well made otherwise.

Finalmente un ascia full tang (o quasi). Il punto più a rischio in metallo da una sensazione di solidità che altre non hanno. La lama è affilata e l'acciaio sembra di qualità. Per ora 5 stelle, vedremo con l'uso.
