I wanted the smoothest possible surface for my DIY project and other than buying an additional 220 grit sanding disc to start leveling the surface, i was able to remove all the high and low spots on a table that is coated with Spar Urethane with the 220 grit, the worked my way up to 10k grit and also slowly increasing the rotation speed. by 5000 grit, the surface was reflecting the sunlight. by 10k grit it was blinding me. I did pour some water to wet sand it towards the 3000 grit level upwards. this was definitely a fantastic choice.

I do a lot of resin crafts and I needed some higher grit sandpaper, You cant find these higher grit paper at the local hardware, they don't carry them. I have already used all the sizes of sandpaper and they work like a charm and I am so happy I bought these. They line right up with my disk sander and don't fall off and does just what I thought they would do. Fast delivery is a bonus when your trying to complete a project.

The inconsistencies in grits and sharp edges on the paper left deep scratches. Had to purchase other brand. Used for cutting and polishing paint.

In all fairness, maybe these sanding/polishing discs are good on soft metals, plastics, and such, but they are worthless on steel. Two short passes and the abrasive is completely gone. I mean smooth as a baby's behind. In contrast, the sheets of the same grit, purchased at Harbor Freight, hold up just fine. Complete waste for my purposes and will probably return.

I didn't think this through before I bought. I bought this for wet sanding, but then I realized that I'm using an electric sander.. with water. I did not get shocked. I did coat the inside of my new sander with wet debris, that dried and caked on. I also slung water and fine paint powder ( slurry) all over me, and my garage.I might still use this in the future for polishing a countertop, but I would not suggest for wet sanding paint.
