A perfect family game (if your kiddos are ten and above)
A perfect family game (if your kiddos are ten and above). What I love about this game is that it doesn't rely on innate or rote knowledge. As a mother of both a gifted child and a child with dyslexia, it is often hard to find family games that level the playing field between my two angels. This game allows both my children to shine as they the quests are more about creativity than knowing a specific body of knowledge. We played many nights over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and were in positive stitches. And the game play (and its direction) really is malleable to the age group playing... adults playing the game will be just as challenged and enjoy it just as much as a mixed age group.

I LOVE board games
I LOVE board games. Especially ones that bring on lots of laughs. We played this game the other night with two other couples and we had a blast. Two of the women in our group were nervous about how "silly" they would be required to be, but in the end we ALL had fun and everyone agreed that the game was a good time. I also appreciate that the game did not include any inappropriate suggestions so it would be possible to play with our teen and pre-teen aged children as well. I hope that the makers of the game come out with extra cards so we can continue to play this game in the future without having to repeat what we've already done. If you're looking for a GREAT party game this is an excellent choice!

Innovative fun for everyone - but not without it's drawbacks
Pros:The game is fast-paced, entertaining, and definitely pushed some of our family and friends out of their comfort zone when asked to do things like read a phrase with a German accent, or recite a phrase with your tongue touching your nose. It's also different from most any other game we've ever played, which made it easy to play a few times in a row. The kids loved it, and wanted to play multiple times over the holiday break when we received it. We played with 4 people a few times, and then once with six - it's definitely more fun with a bigger crowd.Cons:The focus of the game is on becoming famous and making more money - if that's not a message you want to send to your kids, you might consider a different game.We quickly burned through the entire card deck, and feel like we now can't play for a while because you don't want to be repeating cards you had the day before. The card activities are relatively few (i.e. there are a few types of activities, and then that type of activity is repeated several times with new phrases, etc. It did start to feel a little repetitive. There are several "private challenges" where you receive a challenge that no one knows about, and you get money if you carry it off without being discovered, or the table can foil your money attempt if they catch you doing the private challenge. The problem was that some of the challenges were so mundane that there was no way anyone could catch you, which made completing the challenge feel easy and pointless.Even though it's an individual game (you play as a team, but win as an individual), we felt committed to our team. Several times during the game, you swap team mates and choices had to be made about who would move from one team to the next. This caused hurt feelings in our close-knit family, and also created confusion for younger players both when the swaps were made, and also at the end when they realized their TEAM didn't win, just one of the players won.

I thought this game would be really fantastic, so I ordered it for my family to play on New Year's Eve. It was certainly entertaining for a few hours, but some parts of it I didn't enjoy at all. Like the parts where you had to write a poem. Some people (ME!!) cannot write poems. Period. Let alone write poems within a few seconds. It was ok, but not the best party game I've ever played and I don't see myself playing it again to be honest. When I purged the board games last week, my 13 year old wouldn't let me get rid of this one though, so she clearly enjoyed it more than I did!

Not for all Families
We bought this game for our family and it looked like fun after reading many of the Amazon reviews. Our youngest player/son is 12, and given that he has 4 older siblings, generally he is a bit more advanced than 12 year-olds without older brothers/sisters so I didn't think this game was going to be a problem. We split up into two teams of 3, and tried to play for an hour. It just wasn't fun. I guess you really have to be in a party mood to enjoy this game. One of the acting out cards told the team to take a picture with a mobile phone or digital camera of your reaction to "catching the love of your life other kissing a sad drunk clown." Sorry Banter Board Games, sad drunk clowns and infidelity is not family material. Age is not the determining factor for playing, its what you find appropriate for your family values. Perhaps we are a family for games <13 years old? I would prefer to return this game if I could.

Buy this GAME!!
We got five new games at Christmas. This was the big hit with everyone. We had twenty family members from Grandma to the little guy all participating. Full of fun, short entertaining tasks and challenges like miming, witty poem writing, gargle singing and many others. Brought everyone out of their shell. Gave tons of laughs. Great family quality time. Good CLEAN fun for the whole group! Very well done and wonderfully creative. Best for a group.

So much fun for anyone willing to make a fool of themselves!
I bought this to take to our lake house where we played it with 3 couples over a winter vacation (think cooped up in the cabin with drinks and blankets). This game was perfect! We all have great senses of humor, but were so sick of Cards against Humanity and wanted something totally different. We also wanted a game that you didn't need a lot of alcohol to make it entertaining because 2 of our guests were pregnant. Everyone had the best time playing this game and we were crying we were laughing so hard. Definitely recommend, but be prepared to make yourself look like an idiot.

Absolutely brilliant game
Bought as a gift for a family member and played as a family with three children aged 12 upwards.Fantastic fun.Would be great for Christmas or new year. There are some parts that suggest using water which we adapted for inside but would be good outside at a bbq etc.would buy again for a gift for someone else.Definitely recommend.

Rules quick to grasp, fast pace, and absolutely hilarious.
We tried it with teams members ranging in age from twenties to nineties. Everyone had an extremely enjoyable evening as a result - heaps of fun and much laughter. I absolutely recommend this to everyone. Glad I bought it, and looking forward to playing it again.

Good fun!!
Fun family game, lots of laughing involved!! We are big on board games in our house and this is a welcome addition to the collection, however we do tend to get a little bored half way through playing and tend to give up (not through lack of cards, but some of the cards/tasks take a little while to complete). We're also a tad confused on the rules as, in teams you collect money by moving up the board, but individuals get money too, so we assume there is one overall winner based on money as opposed to a team winning. Not sure if we're supposed to play it this way, but we find it more fun as even though you're in teams it's fun to be competitive even with your team member! Overall a good, fun, quirky game that I would recommend.

great game for friends & family!!
I bought this game based on all the good reviews I read here on Amazon. Haven’t seen any adverts on the telly for it or anything but thought it was worth a go.Had a dinner party with 8 friends that weekend so we tried it out. Was definitely not disappointed. Such a funny game with some great laughs, some of us even cried from laughing so much!!!Instructions were very short so game was started really quickly which was a big bonus for us. You split into teams and do half the challenges with your team mates which is fun, then the other half of challenges you play against your team mates, so can get quite competitive.Traveling around the board there is fun plastic surgery jokes and avoiding rehab etc. which all added to the ‘fame’ style of everything. The best thing about the game is the challenges, which we just loved. One big pile of Money Maker cards sit on the board and each team takes turns to lift and read. This was fun as each challenge was completely different and original so we had no clue what we were going to pick up.Best games for us had to be guessing what accent our team mate was doing, writing raps, pretending to send shapes to our team mates through ‘the power of thought’ and the cross breed games where you have to make the sound of one animal and the movement of another.Great twist at the end of the game. Basically a team finish together but secret amounts of individual payments have been adding up over the game through cheques. Once all these are taken into account, the winner could be anyone. Helps finish the game off well and clever twist to keep us all on our toes. All in all a great time was had. We’ve already played it again and my friends have borrowed it for a family weekend so no doubt my edition will go missing soon…Couldn’t recommend it anymore!l
