I've now ordered 2 more sets. They last longer than any of my other flameless. They have a nice flickering flame. If u don't want the lantern, it unscrews out of the bottom! 👍🏼

The lanterns have a very realistic display, but only from the front and back. The side view is OK, but if you get close enough, you can clearly see the plastic piece moving around that produces the latern's flicker. I'm sure this is also true for real candles\lanterns, but you need to be within 20 feet to really appreciate the realistic display. They are simply not bright enough, to show the details from too far way. IE these are perfect for displaying on a mantel, displaying them on a driveway\walkway, is less than perfect, but they still look nice, and they will serve my purpose.

This is the second time I ordered these little lanterns. My first experience was excellent! They still work since the last year I got them, but the new ones (all three of them) have a bad contact somewhere. The timers don’t work at all, and I have to shake the lanterns to make contact, which sometimes works for a few minutes but then they die.I don’t have the box anymore since I didn’t anticipate such problems; after all, I thought I was buying the same great product.Extremely disappointed with this purchase. So much money wasted.

Very disappointed, very poorly made. 1.) The metal clips at the top did not look very Halloween-y so I wanted to remove them. They have to be slid through a jump-ring (like when you remove a key). One of the jump-rings was wedged in the little hole and it would not move. Had I tried to force it, I'm sure it would have broken, then there would be no hole for me to hang them from. So I had to leave the clip on. 2.) One of the battery covers would not open, looked like it was glued or melted into the casing. I had to pry it off to install the batteries, so of course it broke. After installing the batteries I covered the opening with masking tape and it worked OK. 3.) Only one of the 3 lanterns did not have any apparent defects. They worked OK for Halloween decorations, the flickering fake flame had the effect I wanted. Definitely not worth even the fairly low price of $10 each. Get something else.

The only problem; on one of lanterns the batteries don't fit snugly into their case so the battery cover does not snap into place. That's just a small annoyance. Because these small lanterns ( measuring 6") are a novel decorating tool. They can be placed on an end table, or among live or silk plants or anywhere you would like to see a little candle . At night they lend a wonderful charm and whimsy to a room. I highly recommend them!

It's ok if you don't mind a lot of work to get the battery compartments open. I ordered three sets, nine lanterns, and five of them had the battery doors glued shut. The same glue that attaches the light assembly to the lantern base apparently dribbles across onto the door. Capillary action distributes it inside the tiny gap. An hour with an exacto knife got them open. If the manufacturer had their 25 cent/hour people take the door off before gluing to the lantern, everything would be fine.

I was reading the reviews about people saying they were a little small but I thought they were perfect for my patio table! They add that very intimate atmosphere to my patio and I can’t wait to get more of these cute little lamps and hang them up on my trees!

A little smaller looking than I had hoped but they work well and look pretty close to a real candle from over a few feet away. All of them works fine they do not come with batteries however. They also shipped very quickly and arrive before they we're estimated to.
