1. i was able to write the fixture profiles for it on my laptop to use with an old jands hog 1000.the people at Jands pointed me towards a link which i downloaded and used to edit the fixture profile parameters with.2. the problem is consistency, you need to be sure to buy and actually receive the same model (wattage, parameter count, etc.) from them, otherwise your profile won't match all the units you've got. I've found that the 14/16s work better than the 16/18s for the Jands1000 once i got the perameters laid out when programmed.that's generally the problem with using generic fixtures most of the time.i haven't tried using them with the newer boards yet, let alone on the software laptop bundles so there's that.tough to use but manageable if you have the time.that's what you get for the cheap price.3. also, the latency between fixtures is out of whack. you'll notice that their timings are off once you let them run for an amount of time (the movement speeds begin to differ slightly)4. finally they break easy.it's 3 stars tops but 2 is fine. 4-5 def not!i would get them again though because they're the devil that i'm familiar with.

I love these lights. Purchased 4 a little over a year ago. One light is malfunctioning and doing it's own thing instead of what I've programmed it to do so that's not good. If not for that I would give 5 stars. Very bright, lightweight and effective for any stage.
