iCube Tivizen Pico Galaxy DVB-T TV-Tuner FR/ES/IT

There appear to be two versions of this device, the only apparent difference is that one is much more expensive than the other! Both compatible with the Samsung Galaxy Tab. This one works remarkably well and the "FR/ES/IT" suffix applicable to only the rather inadequate quick start booklet that is in English as well.Download the app called 'tivizen mini DVB-T' from Google Play and thereafter set-up is straightforward with the device scanning all the available DVB channels and storing them in memory under a title of your choosing. The aerial is very short and a little fragile but does seem to work well given a reasonably good signal strength from your local transmitter. There is a signal strength indicator on the task bar. I live about 10 miles from the Belmont transmitter but with a hill in between. There is no provision to connect an external aerial. Image quality on my 10" Tab 2 P5110 is not great in full screen but better on the smaller 7" Tab P3110. In fact the overall performance, signal sensitivity etc is better on the 7" Tab. Both Tabs run Android v 4.+.The only downsides are you cannot charge the Tab when the device is connected, the software can be a little temperamental and the aerial would be better located at the opposite end of the device so that on the 7" Tab at least, it could be positioned with the Tab controls on top of the unit and the aerial pointing upwards.

ha un'antenna corta e sottilissima, è fragile solo da vedere. non ha un ingresso per antenna esterna. quando s'installa il software indicato poi appare un messaggio che invita a scaricare un altro software più aggiornato (un po confusionario, perchè fare installare all'utente 2 software per poi disinstallare il primo?). il software è basilare e quando si cercano i canali tv la lista dei canali che trova è sempre differente. a me non prende i 3 canali principali della rai. ad ogni tentativo crea una nuova lista. una volta create più liste io non sono riuscito ancora a capire come cancellarle. il segnale va e viene senza una progressione ma come se il dispositivo funzionasse ad intervalli (si va dall'80% di segnale allo 0% in mezzo secondo, attesa di 30 secondi e di nuovo 80%, attesa 1 secondo ed ancora 0%, ecc...). pagato meno di 20 euro è da considerare uno sfizio ma non ci si può fare affidamento.

Non ha una buona ricezione pensavo meglio il segnale anche all'aperto non e dei migliori potrebbe essere migliorata x quello che costa.
