Great for beginner feet
I ordered 2 sizes up from my daughter's street size because I can always pull the strings tighter to make the shoes fit snug on her feet so that last a little bit longer. They really only need be sized up 1 size so they are very close to true to size in smaller feet.Very easy to put on. I love how easy the canvas can be washed which is why I chose that over the leather.

Not for knots
Not bad, fit well and are sturdy but not a fan of the ties. They are too short to double knot and come out of a regular bow knot quickly. I’ve been tucking them in the shoe instead

Great basic ballet shoes for kids
I bought these for my daughter’s dance class and they’ve worked out great so far. They fit as expected, are easy for her to put on by herself, and seem comfortable. The canvas is lightweight and flexible, and the elastic straps help them stay in place. Nothing fancy, but exactly what we needed. Would buy again!

Dancer’s feedback
The best part of this shoe is the price, compared to better shoes that cost twice as much. Bought this shoe for a performance since the dancers needed black and only wear them for the performance. It’s a weird fit, the proportions are a little off, the vamp is too long, and the elastics are attached too far back closer to heal than they should be so it kinda chokes the ankle and puckers the arch. Otherwise, it works, it’s canvas, not stretchy at all. Nice suede sole pads.
