The media could not be loaded.  I've been wanting to gift my parents a new range hood, to update their 15 years old 30 inches wide Kitchenaid one, which was rated at 450 CFM. I was debating between a few of these and picked this one due to its high CFM, affordable price, modern look and functionalities. This JOEAONZ Island Mount Range Hood is 36 inches across and pretty much cover their whole gas range, which means it would provide better smoke suction area, and won't let it escape out into their livingroom/familyroom. Our uncle is a contractor so we asked him to help us with the installation, which took about 2 hours total since he needed to reenforced the studs in the attic before actually mounted this new range hood on. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, all the accessories needed for the installations were included (the brackets, mounting hardware, screws/nuts, etc...)Once the installation was done, plugged in the power and it works great, no issue at all. The fan was running so quietly, like only 40% of what their own range hood's noise level. This new range hood is rated at 700 CFM, which almost doubled their old one, and upgrading from 30 inches to this 36 inches wide was also a good choice, it helps make their kitchen looks much nicer and provide way way better suction coverage (they cook lot and most Vietnamese dishes have lot of smoke while cooking because we tend to use lot of oil, and doing lot of pan fry and stir fry stuff). The 4 LED lights on each corner provide much brighter lighting. I also really like the baffle filter, it looks like a commercial kitchen, plus it's easier to clean them by just putting them in the dishwasher and have it wash instead of cleaning it by hands.Another cool feature is the timer, they always leave their old range hood one after cooking to help suck out all the smell and smoke, and sometimes would forget and leave it running for a few hours. Having the timer is great, they can just set it to turn off after 15, 30 minutes or an hour later, no more wasting electricity and its lifespan.Any other brand name range hood that has similar looks and functionalities would cost at least $300 to $500 more, so to me this is a great deal. I'd totally get this for my house or recommend to my friends if they're shopping for an island mount type range hood.

Looked for weeks trying to decide what island exhaust hood. Most reviews of multiple products mention shipping damage, stainless blue proctective film nightmare. Well, they would be correct. Box had a small dent see photo. Opened the box to inspect and both of the upper stainless tins were dented. Lucky the larger section that rests on hood itself only had a couple. The small section on top that the slides into bottom section had several dents and dings. Luckily my ceiling was low enough that after fitting sections together all but a couple light dents were visible. Not an easy install but all went together and everything seems to working fine and looks very nice. Some one needs to hire a real packaging engineer to get these issues corrected

The media could not be loaded.  We needed a free hanging hood, and this one looks great functions perfectly. I like the glass shield. It allows for more light to come through, we think it was a great purchase.

The media could not be loaded.  Powerful ventilation three speeds, bright light. I love it in the middle of remodeling makes a great new addition for the house.

The media could not be loaded.  My situation was a little different because it had to come through a soffit it to get to where it needed to be , but it turned out great. I mounted it about 32 inches above the stove and it still clears the smoke and steam out very easily. And it's much much much quieter than I thought it would be. I must say the instructions did suck.

I received this item with a component having a couple dents possibly due to shipping, the seller was great with communication and helped me get a replacement for that item as soon as possible.It has been working perfectly, is sleek, and looks great! It does exactly as expected, would recommend buying from this seller!

À la réception de la hotte, les deux cheminées étaient endommagées. J’ai communiqué avec le représentant par courriel et deux jours plus tard, je recevais les deux nouvelles cheminées gratuitement. J’ai apprécié le service à la clientèle de cette entreprise. Considérant le prix, cette hotte est de très bonne qualité, efficace et silencieuse. J’ai pu l’installer à 18 po du faux plafond ce qui m’a limité pour le choix lors de l’achat. Le service à la clientèle est très bon et je recommande cet achat ,très bonne qualité à bas prix. On pourrait améliorer facilement la qualité en prévoyant une ouverture pour passer le câble d’alimentation et surtout réécrire le manuel d’installation. Afin d'obtenir une installation plus durable l'achat d'un tuyau flexible deux couche aluminium recouvert de pvc est idéal en remplacement du tuyau trop mince fourni.Un client satisfait

La hotte convient à mes attentes. Apparence distinguées et fonctionne à merveille.

Range hood

Absolutely pisspoor instructions, why not have a video? How can a person clean the fan drum? Any instructions? Plastic seems hard to remove. The flanges of flexible pipe are exactly same size as flanges on fan and rigid pipes. Cannot slide them over the ends.To run the electrical wires you'll need to drill a hole in the plate for wire to run through. Instructions on how to clean the blades from the fan. Manufacturer is completely useless for instructions.

This was damaged in box. Unfortunate as it looks simple to install and would look great.
