Very tasty and flexible for a variety of meals, nice color. I like the taste better than before. Not flaky and dry, but easy to mix. Water content is as expected for a 5 oz. can of regular tuna. I can appreciate that it creates an easy to blend product, even when I pour off some of the water. Not too thick and bound together upon arrival to stir and mix, or need to use more than one utensil to work with it. Combined packaging prevented denting (tight packing of tuna cans + packing box properly selected and packed by shipper). This is not albacore, so it isn't packed in the same way.

I like Starkist tuna - both the solid white albacore and this chunk light in water (it’s actually more like “shredded” tuna than chunks). I have a finicky cat who was turning her nose up at her food so I thought I’d try adding something that she gets occasionally as a treat. This tuna is very tasty and has lots of moisture. As an added benefit, it is the perfect topping for my cat’s usual food. (And it’s cheaper than other toppings.). So it’s a win-win for me. We like it and so does Miss Kitty. It’s really good in tuna casserole because it’s the darker, more flavorful tuna. It’s packed in water so I don’t have to drain it. For sandwiches I prefer Starkists’ solid white but this is better for casseroles and pasta salads.

We have bought a couple of cases for our house and my daughters. Great stock-up price for the pantry, and you can't go wrong with tuna for lunch or dinner meals. These are heavy when shipped, so remember to be careful with picking them up!

I bought two cases of this tuna fish after a certain 'incident' between the US & another country. I've eaten this brand of before and it is wonderful. It couldn't hurt to have a couple of cases in the house, just in case. It is shelf-stable, non-perishable, versatile, it does not require cooking, and it can be eaten by people, cats, or dogs.

For my daily protein intake, I usually mix in a can of tuna with a bowl of oatmeal. I like the extra flavor the tuna adds to the oatmeal. The tuna is not too oily since it comes in water. It doesn't taste too dry and is very flavorful.
