THEY WORK GREAT FOR GROW TENTS & SMALL GROW SETUPS
I've purchased several of these in the past few years , and have had different levels of c02 output . I have always used anywhere from 2-6 of them at a time . I've found that they work the best in an environment that has medium humidity (35-60%) and good air flow . I have 4 small fans running and a CFM exhaust fan pulling a decent amount of air through the tent . I purchased a highly reviewed meter to monitor my c02 , and its been enlightening to watch these bags put out some high numbers . I was shocked when I finished up my first grow , and seen I had nearly 1400 ppm . I then saw that all 3 bags were in perfect activation. , The bags had been really been supplying a substantial about of c02 all along , even though my meter was showing lower numbers mid to late in flower . The trick is purchase 1 or 4 and activate at the start of a grow . I have seen my numbers rise a little in the first 4 weeks after activation, but the magic REALLY HAPPENS ONCE THE BAG IS PUFFED UP . It usually takes at least 30-40 days before these are really starting to work optimally. ( This is just from my personal experience ) CONS- I have had a couple show up damaged before , from transport I assumed . I had an XL sized c02 bag show up that never seem to really get with the program. It changed to white and showed familiar activation symptoms , but always just limply flopped over at the top . I could see someone , first purchasing a bag , possibly having a little trouble figuring out how to activate correctly and hang , but really you just gotta follow the instructions. Its quite simple and easy . Altogether , this is an amazing product . I'm sure there are home remedies to achieve c02 output , but these bags have absolutely been effective in my setup. I wish they were a smidgen cheaper , but I understand people need to make a living . One day I might upgrade to a tank system , but in the meantime these nifty C02 mushroom bags will do.

Came ACTIVATED and CAME WITH SPIDER MITES!!!
So in July we were going into a heat wave here in the northeast so in anticipation I got one of these 4 my tent. I opened the box and saw the block was already kinda white n then after reading the instructions I realized it was already activated. I assumed they sending them out like this on purpose because they assuming ppl aren't seeing them up correctly. I placed it into my tent and for the first few days my cannabis plants (which were in bloom) were very happy n beautifully green n I tested the co2 in my tent and yes it was up by 400 ppm. But after about a week the number dropped back down which has me wondering if the product was somehow defective and at the same time started noticing stippling on some of my leaves. Now everyone knows that u really can't apply any solutions to blooming cannabis but I wasn't about to have 9 months of growth and labor go 2 waste. Needless to say the pictures tell it all. It didn't work against the heat stress plus setting up environment that those little buggers LOVE. Luckily the second picture is of my 1 plant that was still in veg in my other tent which caught the infestation. Now the second I'm sure I can bring back since it didn't flower but it'll take a while but my first 2 babies I'm starting to believe are hopeless. FIX UR QUALITY CONTROL ISSUES!!!! If ur looking for co2 check YouTube thru have plenty diy solutions

So many confidently incorrect reviews. These are a great addition.
I’ve been using these bags for years and although they won’t do the work of an expensive tank, I absolutely notice elevated ppm in a 4x4 ranging from 600-850. Those complaining about “used” or already activated bags should have paid closer attention. Exhale offers the option of self activating bags or bags that have been pre activated. The reviews complaining about mold are inaccurate. The white growth is mycelium colonizing the substrate. That’s what is producing CO2. People complaining about getting what they ordered and then complaining that it’s worthless simply because they don’t understand what they bought or how it works. Many of these reviews are confidently incorrect. These bags are a nice addition to dialed in environmental conditions. If your temperature, vpd, DLI, watering protocols are off, supplementing CO2 will be much less effective. Also if your exhaust fan is regularly running on high, then any type of supplemental CO2 will be ineffective. The ppm won’t rise and CO2 won’t fall onto your canopy because it is being blasted out before it can even be detected.

My plant grew 3" in 3 days after being stuck at 13" for a month!!!
BRO SCIENCE! the critics proclaimed. "Unless you have 1000w light, you're never going to get plants to benefit from Exhale!" Guess what? I bought the regular Exhale for my little tent. It's inoculated at the manufacturing facility and ready to go when it arrives. My severely stunted and abused Cannabis plant, which had been stuck for a month without growing no matter what I did, grew 3" in 3 days and large leafs are forming. You can also order Exhale 365, which you get to inoculate yourself by squeezing a spawn pod into the bag. The only thing is it takes a couple of weeks to really get going. I keep my 2x2 tent a little warmer than most, around 80-83F. Exhale likes it warm. A 6" vivosun oscillating fan runs continuously so all the little leaves and necks wiggle and get stronger. It's my first grow and I think an ExHale bag will be involved with all future grows. The bag I bought from Amazon arrived on the cusp of its date, and the man who invented the bag offered to replace with a fresher bag but I declined as I don't have that many months to grow. I bought it mid-January and its Expiry date is in June. It's supposed to last 6 months. When you aren't growing, you can put the bag somewhere cool and dark and it will rest.

It's my first grow, so I'm pulling all of the stops.
I almost always read the reviews before buying something unless I've bought it before, and this was no exception. Most of the time, I take bad reviews as operator errors, and people blame the product. I just got this yesterday, so I will come back in a few months and write a review about that, but right now, I want to give a review of what I see so far. I'm told that the bags work; just give it some time. Therefore, that is not my issue here, and most of the bad reviews on this one were spot on, and the bag came activated. I bought two bags for the purpose of staggering them three months apart so that I don't introduce both bags at one time to the tent; this way, I could have a gradual increase in co2, and that way, I would only need one bag every three months, and not two bags in six months. Yes, the bags came activated already, and that's cool. I'm not going to sweat that; just know that I'll be contacting one of the other three companies I found that allows me to activate the bag: I'm glad I didn't get the six pack because I would have returned them all. I'm running 800 par even throughout the tent, so this should improve the uptake of nukes to the plants.
