Q: Is this set made in China?

I'm not 100% sure, but it looks like they have a manufacturing/distribution center in California. You should know however, that I was unable to ever receive my order. I ordered a full set of dishes and Amazon shipped me a single bowl. So I reached out to Amazon and the next time I received a single plate. Amazon eventually cancelled my order because they said that they were unable to fix the issue. There seems to be a vendor/coding issues with the bar codes on the products. Order at your own risk. The product is amazing, so you may want to try Zulily as I was able to get a full set through them.

I do not know the intended motif, but they remind me of French or Italian gardens.

No we do not have any melmac glasses or any glasses designed for this set specifically. However, we do offer a cobalt blue acrylic glass in either an ice tea style, a DOF style or a goblet, which would go nicely with this set.
