The Berenstain Bears Play a Good Game (Berenstain Bears/Living Lights: A Faith Story)

This is a bit lengthy for some younger ages, but even my 2-year-old enjoys it. The message is good too. Focuses more on the ethics of the game, not so much on winning or losing.

Ordered a new book but it was dirty and clearly used

In this book, Brother Bear, Sister Bear, and their friends, relatives, and families learn how to be a good sport and to play fair. This book is a very good way to teaches children no matter how old they are to be a good sport and to play fair.

Well written and illustrations are great. A strong message about teamwork, can't go wrong with this one.

Great product

Ever since the son took over authoring these books, they have really gone downhill in quality. The new method of illustrating looks rough and unfinished and the writing is not the same caliber style as when the parents wrote it. With that being said, these new 'Little Lights' books are the first ones I've liked in the series in almost a decade. I am an adult collector of the First Time Book series, which I consider 'Little Lights' a part of, and I bought 3 of the 'Little Lights' books to sample and really have enjoyed them and plan on buying more. I'm looking forward to the Thanksgivng one due to be released soon and hope they continue with the series. I also hope they consider bringing back the Big Chapter books. I think they were better than the First Time Books and they explore the other minor characters more like Too-Tall and Queenie.

I ordered this for my niece along with a soccer set. Came in good shape, no folds or bends of pages

My daughter loves the Berenstain bears. I was so happy to see a Christian version released. The story has a great moral. It's a nice teaching tool. I plan on buying all of them.

My kids love the Berenstain bears and they learn really great lessons with these books. Highly recommend!

Was sold as excellent condition but was marked and a bit frayed. Would say excellent was over stating it!

Just a warning that this is a religion related book. Wasn’t expecting it so wanted to let others know. The whole story hinges on it so wouldn’t recommend this as a sports related book.
