After a neighbor was recently killed by a cab on my corner I decided to arm myself and my dog so we can be safe during nighttime walks.For me, a reflective cap and arm bands. For my pup this great safety necklace. And rather than cut it, I realized it can easily and comfortably wrap around his neck twice for twice the glow.As another reviewer mentioned, pushing in the little white button to open the necklace is very difficult, but disconnecting the green tube from the white connector to open/close it seems to work just fine.I can't speak of longevity because I just received this necklace today, but this appears to be a well-made, quality product. Thanks Amazon for another great buying experience.

Product works great. Bought two collars so we could keep track of our dogs when it got dark as they explored around our lake property. They easily cut to fit both our 57 lb mixed breed and 15 lb Rat Terrier with plenty to spare. We like the green color as it is highly visible.Note that this is not a replacement for their regular collars but a supplement to them at night.

I bought this collar for my dog because I have a big backyard and can't see her all the time I love it it recharges and it is great when you were walking at night so nobody will hit you highly recommended.

Took me a moment to figure out how to pull one end off so I could cut it short and I trimmed the inside slightly shorter than the outside so the end would fit back in. Works great. Very bright! I left it loose on my dog so it doesn't hide in his fur.

Very weak clasp does not stay on at all. Light is already dimming after 1 week. Won't charge. Waste of money

It gave great visibility but it didn't stay on. It came off while we were hiking and we lost it in the woods. It needs a stronger clasp.
